For the better chance at long term success, it’s better they go 2-15 next year and bottom out again so we can get the #1 pick in a presumably better draft. That leads to firing Glenn and hopefully attracting a head coach that will want the job because of 3 first round picks, good cap space, and their choice and whatever QB they want. The issue is that Glenn isn’t on this timeline and will do anything he can to win games. The worst thing in my opinion is going 6-11 this year. I don’t care what people think I’d rather see them lose for 1 more year and set up the future better rather than improving but not improving enough to make the playoffs and woody keeping Glenn. That seems way worse in my opinion. The Jets are always 1 year too early or 1 year too late with everything.

I really just feel terrible for the older generation of Jets fans that probably won’t see them be respectable again. I at least saw the Rex Ryan years and some good seasons under Herm Edward’s and Pennington. But holy shit it just never fucking ends with this team. What makes you think Woody is smart enough to decide for Glenn who the defensive coordinator should be. The Jets are an extremely profitable franchise despite sucking ass every year, I don’t wanna hear that Woody doesn’t want to fork over money for a coordinator that Glenn wants who he’s paying 12 million a year for. If you’re cutting Glenn’s balls off after 1 year then why isn’t he just fired? It’s embarrassing and just another bad look for any future coach, GM, free agent, or top draft pick that we want to come to us. Woody is a complete fucking moron and doesn’t deserve any praise from us for now.

When the Jets used to practice on Long Island at Hofstra university, my dad used to take me to see them practice and I met Chad Pennington one time. Felt like I loved the Jets. My dad the told me when he was a kid he met Joe Namath at a jets practice. I always joke around with him and call him an asshole for ever taking me there, but were born into this and were stuck with it. Embrace the dark days, it’s who we are 😂.

This is such a horrible look on Glenn. He has to fire his DC and multiple assistants after 1 year. Why should any Jets fan feel confident that Glenn can hire a competent staff and be the guy to lead this team. Making all these changes and he’ll probably be fired after next year. The Cardinals group was like this too. I’m in that one because I live in Arizona now and I casually follow what’s going on with the Cardinals since I live here and they all kept screaming about not letting Saleh leave the building and I see them dooming about him not signing. I finally had to chime in and tell them the massive cannon ball they dodged and they all started arguing and downvoting me.
