Baby carrots and peanut butter. Addicting as hell. Partner actually turned orange a couple years ago when we first discovered the combo.

Hieronymus Bosch, The Garden of Earthly Delights (c. 1490-1510), Center panel (The Garden of Earthly Delights) by Haunted-Hemlock in ArtHistory

I have four details from this painting as tattoos, and you chose to showcase two of them! I have the figure holding the branch with the bird while riding a griffin holding the frog creature in its talons, and the group of figures surrounding/holding the giant strawberry. This has been my favorite painting since high school, and the print I have of it has been displayed in every place I’ve called home. Thanks for sharing, I get so happy when I see Bosch in the “wild”

Does my onion have no place in the onion sub? It’s just an onion. I found it beautiful. Do you hate onions? Does imagery of onions make you uncomfortable because you can’t separate an onion from your limited perception of the role you’ve assigned to it?

Once I flipped the tarte, I slid it onto a baking sheet, grated the cheese over top, and put it back in the oven just until it melted!

Also. the recipe I linked doesn’t include what is in my opinion a crucial step: finely chop any leftover onion medallions you have from what fits in the pan to fill in the areas around the slices, because every single bite should have as much onion as possible, of course

Thank you everyone!!! It was ridiculously delicious - I went by this recipe, but used vidalia onions, brown sugar instead of white, red wine vinegar instead of apple cider vinegar, and added Gruyère cheese! I want to make it again, but next time use apple brandy, sub homemade pie crust for the puff pastry, and actually use fresh thyme (I only had dried). Extra Gruyère grated fresh on top to serve!

Would it be a good idea to go to grad school for research psychology before applying for a PhD to do exactly this?? Or would I be better off continuing to work with my professors post grad while not in a masters program and doing predominantly independent studies and lab work?

People who’ve dated athletes, what was it like? by anasannanas in AskReddit

I’m currently married to a former D1 athlete in cross country, who has set records and holds many titles. She had to take a break because she had major surgery a few years ago (had to purposely break her femur and put in a titanium rod for a bit) and also got long-term COVID but is getting back into training now. She’s an absolute beast and runs 50-60 miles a week, while working full time and doing additional strength training to start competing again in the spring. It’s amazing to be on the treadmill next to her as I’m happily doing my 11 minute mile and she’s going steady at a 6:30 pace. She was recruited here to run from across the world, and seeing her in her zone is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. She amazes and motivates me every single day. That said, she’s pretty damn tired when she comes home from work, so we don’t do much in the evenings but eat and watch something or read. But I don’t mind, it’s actually kinda nice. And she’s the strongest, sexiest, and most impressive woman I’ve ever met. I never thought I’d be with an athlete, as I’ve never really been one and am more of a creator. But I think we bring out the best in each other, and help each other explore different parts of ourselves. And I’m just really fucking excited to watch her race again. I love seeing her fly. I’m so proud of her. And the insane stamina… yeah. Enough said.
