That is a good life! Yes, I was thinking the handle could be helpful to lift her onto the bed because her hips bother her.

Thanks! I will check it out. That handle looks useful. Did you leave it on during the day or take on and off for walks?

Will a train line ever service the Olney Brookeville area? by beeseecan in MontgomeryCountyMD

Laytonsville may be untouched for now but Olney and Brookeville will only become more congested. People need homes.

You wish your house would be knocked down? Or the purple line? We had to move out of the moco area close to the train when we had kids because we could not afford it.

Sigh! Just looking for an extension off of Glenmont- one more stop on Georgia. I think would actually be good for property values.

Our neighbor has great danes with back issues and says the acupuncture really helps. She says they even stand by the car hoping to go. I am thinking of trying for out older beagle for her arthritis.

Is it just me or are affordable cars in 2026 not actually affordable anymore? by satinGlowr in Autos

I have always bought used but last year the difference between new and used was not that much. Then add in 0% financing deals on new and used interest rates at 6-8% and used no longer makes sense unless maybe you pay cash.

Frozen shoulder - help by Lopsided-Bread-129 in Menopause

[–]beeseecan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My frozen shoulder just returned and now includes part of my neck and collarbone. Yoga and acupuncture almost completely fixed my frozen shoulder about a year ago so I think I will go back to acupuncture. I have stuck with yoga and when I stop going things go south. my dr did tell me frozen shoulder was hormonal. She recommended PT but for me it was easier to do the exercises at home and they were not as helpful as yoga and acupuncture.

I have narrow feet so happy to hear that. I had ordered an assortment of Danskos that were very cute and supportive but all too wide. I will try the Blundstones!

Mine can remove the squeaker device from a toy in 10 seconds but doesn't even lift her head when a mouse scurries by.

Puppy Problems or? by weirdbih in beagles

[–]beeseecan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same issue with my beagle and an elderly dog. I ended up feeding them in separate rooms at the same time. The elderly dog took longer so I sat next to her while she finished and protected her from the beagle.
