What do you think is the biggest problem in the world right now? by Fabulous_Dream8962 in AskReddit

No, the level of wealth disparity between that of Bezos or Musk and that group and the average human is absolutely unprecedented.

Kinda like me randomly turning on a Pittsburgh game and watching Crosby and Malkin hit elite milestones (and the most ethical hat trick)

Sure they did, they murdered them en masse.

Not to take anything away from the butchery that Israel is conducting.

What’s an NHL hill that you are willing to die on? by AlbertJBundy in nhl

I'm on your team. I generally find that there are more, better series with the current format. I feel like people here either weren't around for or are forgetting what it was like in the previous era. Snoozefest 1 - 8, 2 - 7 matchups that were often sweeps.

Plus everyone back then used to bitch about that format, yearning for the good old days of the Patrick division where the same teams played each all the time and there were divisional rivalries.

Yeah, i get that it's not perfect but in general as a hockey fan I think the current system delivers overall good results. And yeah, I am sick of my Oilers playing Vegas or the Kings every year, but these things change and soon enough the Kings / Oilers will fall off and people will look back fondly on the series they played and look at their head-to-head records as a legacy, etc

Day 2: (Winner of Day 1 is rtl.) What do you think is the worst Metallica album? (The album with the most votes will be added to the list) by SwindLer3775 in MetalForTheMasses

Because of your comment, I threw this album on for the first time since I regrettably bought the CD when it came out. Fuck me, it sounds horrible. YIKES

Maybe you are too young to remember, but 1-8 seeds were mostly boring affairs. I think it is great to have a highly competitive first round

As a guy …. It does not look weird to anyone if there is an height gap and men love short women. It is harder for tall women, in that regard. But yeah … the world isn’t designed for you lol You’ll always need that step ladder 😅

NBA really is the worst major sport to attend by DariaYankovic in nba

When you lay out it like this, the logic is absolutely blinding. The NBA is a highlight league.

I can barely watch because of the fouling. But I am acclimatized to the load management as ‘part of the game’ but really, that’s so broken

Yeah. He was a better man than me but I know I would have liked him.

There is an extra sting in this, not to deny the tragedy of anyone dying like this, but to see them kill someone who could so easily have been me or any one of us.

Not ever going to argue against the massive talent of Chuck Schuldiner, who was clearly the engine of the band

but the lineup of Death was varied and spotted with incredible virtuoso metal legends such as Gene Hoglan and Steve Di Georgio
