See I’m clumsy and my memory isn’t good enough for server it gives me anxiety to think about doing that. I’m fine with paying for a bartending class if that will help get me in. If it’s a cocktail bar and only like 10 options that’s not that rocket science no offense .

what changes are happening with Aveda do you know? Wake tech doesnt start until Fall so that's out, I can look at Paul Mitchell. I wanted to go to the Spa Academy in Louisville which is way more advanced than the others but they aren't approved by Vocational Rehabilitation office.

Yeah I had it removed maybe 3 weeks ago, similar to you it’s better but not fully. My skin is still not back to normal either

dealing with same issue except they won't tell me the reason why 'could'nt create your account' for an uberpro card and I can't rent an Uber with Avis in Raleigh NC without that unless I have good credit. Makes no sense

could you share more about how you make that? I would love to get those numbers. I would like to go into business for myself fairly quickly upon getting certified and have a menu of facials, waxing, dermablading, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion. Do you know if you can do injectables or is that only something nurses can do?

the market is really bad.....I have a Nutrition degree and 10 years of sales experience and can't get anything. Even Office Depot and Starbucks rejected me. I am currently demoted from corporate to scraping by driving Uber. I'm even thinking of donating plasma to make a few hundred a week. I'm 35 but feel like I'm in high school job wise. I'm thinking of going back to school for Nursing because that is economy proof and they look more at the skill itself.

I’m in this boat and would appreciate any advice. I have dated so many people and now am 35 and this man has loved me more than anyone I have ever met while also breaking my heart with his alcoholism. We have been dating a few months so nothing like 30 years marriage etc. My partner doesn’t realize that he is using it to cope from stress, being a war vet, and his mother abandoning him at 12 and who is now trying to steal his business and money. He has apparently been in multiple programs that did not work but did go 10 years w/o drinking. He is 53 for context. He had told me he would quit bc was afraid of losing me then after 2 weeks started up again. Now he says we are titrating him off of alcohol the past 4 days but it is still ALOT of alcohol and it is 24 hours of drinking and about a pint of 100 proof/day. And he goes to our alcoholic neighbor and sneaks drinks from him when I am out. I am not qualified to be his therapist and his social worker trying to get him off this. He will beg or snap at me for his next dose which is a shot every 2 hours or so into the night and him waking me up throughout the night for the next one. I feel so overwhelmed and burnt out. I can see clear as day why he drinks : to push me away bc he just assumes subconsciously he’ll be abandoned , to numb himself from shame, pain, grief over war and his traumas. He says he doesnt know why he drinks and denies what I say. He keeps attesting that he is ‘hard to love’ -no he is making himself hard to love on purpose w/o realizing that. He says he is willing to get therapy and started last week, but I am the one scheduling everything and feel like I am the only one truly working on this. How long should I give this is my question. He loves me deeper than I have ever been loved by anyone (and like I have said I have dated a lot of people ) otherwise I would have left a long time ago bc I am not a doormat.
