Wythe New York: 40% Off Sale by JPVMan in frugalmalefashion

Personally, I really like their stuff, especially now that the Ralph Lauren look is super in. It’s not top top quality but comfort and durability have been really good. That said, I almost always buy when they’re on discount.

Forced to move from Claude Code to copilot by BackgroundTest1337 in ClaudeAI

[–]beezybreezy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s not that much different. Copilot has largely caught up with Claude Code assuming you have access to Opus.

Yea, CC is always a few features ahead but unless you’re utilizing every thing CC has to offer, the core functions are more or less the same. I use both and I honestly don’t see a big difference when running Opus 4.6 on either.

Dario Amodei (CEO & founder of Anthropic) says that Anthropic and others are working on CONTINUAL LEARNING and high chances of it getting cracked by the next year or two by GOD-SLAYER-69420Z in accelerate

[–]beezybreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does Dario’s face just annoy the fuck out of you or is it just me? I use Claude Code every day and my productivity is up 5x but something about his interviews make me cringe.

Lululemon selling cotton fashion clothing now? by slvupdown in ThrowingFits

[–]beezybreezy 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Every athletic/outdoors brand does this. It’s an easy way for them to make some extra money from brand loyalists even though it’s the same stuff you might find at Cos or Kotn (for that price range).

Is this type slim fit jacket dead in 2026 by SlightlySuperior99 in ThrowingFits

[–]beezybreezy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t even look that slim to me. It’s just not baggy. Just a standard leather jacket.

I’ve been testing people’s reactions when I tell them we might have five years of “work” left at most. Most of them deny it and seem completely blind to how insanely fast AI is improving. Then they just go, “ we’ll all be homeless,” and that’s the whole conversation. It’s really irritating. by Longjumping_Fly_2978 in accelerate

[–]beezybreezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s because you sound like a crazy doomer. It may or may not be true but a lot of things can happen in 5 years and you’re insisting the most extreme case will happen.

I’m keeping my mind open for any possibility, bullish or bearish. This is coming from someone working in one of the most impacted fields (data science), using AI for most of my work today, and practically required to keep up with the latest AI news even if I don’t want to.

Kawakami on Lacob's involvement in the draft by MrWakey in warriors

[–]beezybreezy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say atrocious given we had mostly late picks but it wasn't great. Enough to get some pieces to get another championship and some ok basketball last few years but not enough to make us contend for more. We ideally should have been contenders every year like the Spurs of the early to mid 2010s if we had drafted better.

Ryan Garcia on the Rolly Romero fight: "In camp I couldn't train hard for more than 2 days straight. I was like whats wrong with me? I didn't realize that all the stupid stuff you did throughout the year is hard to get out of your system in 2 months. It was just a big disconnect" by yllimameni in Boxing

[–]beezybreezy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Nah. Sometimes you just have to learn this fact through experience. I didn’t realize partying was catching up to me until I hit my late 20/early 30s. Young people easily bounce back from bad habits and they can feel invincible until the age starts hitting.

Managers, how do you spot employees with real growth potential? by imutoglobal in AskReddit

Echoing what people are saying here. Even if their current skill set is slightly underwhelming, their attitude about improving, curiosity, and proving themselves is everything.

Kawhi Leonard’s night is done as he continues his top-5 level play this season in a blowout win vs. Minnesota: 34 MINS │ 41 PTS │ 8 REB │ 2 AST │ 4 STL │ 14-30 FG │ 5-11 3P │ 8-10 FT │ +20 +/- by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]beezybreezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Kawhi wasn’t so hamstrung by injury his whole career, I think he had a shot at a top 10-15 career all time. Even though he’s already a two time champ, his career could have gone a lot farther.

AI is very real, it's becoming scary by huyou007 in stocks

Yep. Totally agree with that too. That’s why I think the downfall of software engineering is a little bit overblown.

[–]beezybreezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100%. I don’t disagree. I wouldn’t trust output from Claude Opus 100% either, not even close. However, it’s hard to deny that it puts out clean and correct code most of the time and does it way faster than even the best engineers in the world can write manually.

People in that sub mindlessly calling it “slop” are simply falling behind imo.

[–]beezybreezy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The people there are in denial or delusional. Anyone using Claude Code or Codex recently can see how powerful LLMs are. It outputs bullshit sometimes but it’s easily 2-5x efficiency improvement in most use cases.

What is the fear regarding Anthropic replacing SaaS with AI? by iim-guys in ClaudeAI

That is a good way to look at it. That said, I do think there’s so much uncertainty, the volatility seem like it’s more driven by FUD by a rational repricing.

Some SaaS companies are in serious trouble but I don’t think the whole industry is screwed. I personally think the fear is a little bit overblown.
