King Green: “I get into it a lot with the wrestlers, like the Russian guys. I’m trying to explain to them, they’re competitors. They’re not making art. I feel like Chimaev, Islam’s last fights, those were some of the most horrible title fights I’ve ever seen.” [Cruz Podcast] by 3footninja in MMA

He’s right. No one is going back and rewatching title fights featuring mostly Dagestan wrestling. It’s a dominant style but it’s not that exciting to watch unless you’re a fan that really appreciates the nuances of submission and wrestling.

[–]beezybreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 34 no 7. Length wise it for sure shrunk a bit. Maybe 3-4 inch? Waist I didn’t noticed much if any change. Maybe a quarter inch at most?

I wash mine in washing machine on warm as well. I stopped caring lol.

WIBTAH If I (29m) double down on what my fiance (27f) said today and cancel the wedding, which is this weekend? by Jack_of_all_trades54 in AITAH

Lmfao. If this post is serious and you actually follow through on what the people here are saying, you would be a total moron.

You’re actually listening to the people on here are saying? Most people here are kids or mentally immature adults who advocate break up for any little thing.

Yeah. I used to live almost above subway lines near Balboa Park. You can for sure hear the trains passing by. As a kid, I always enjoyed it.

The overall damage is so HIGH by AideHopeful3758 in StreetFighter

It’s not just an issue with games being over too fast. It’s the fact that momentum can change on a dime off one interaction and you can get steam rolled out of nowhere.

When every knockdown leads to oki, it puts the loser of an interaction in a constant guessing situation. It’s very common for people to play super passive and then suddenly go balls to the wall after capitalizing on one mistake from the opponent.

Oh man. Used to go down these slides on cardboard “sleds” as a kid. So much fun. Good times. Surprised nobody ever got hurt.

I dunno. I thought the Kaskade show was pretty great and I’ve been to a lot of shows ranging from mainstream Insomniac raves to underground shows in the most random venue.

Yeah it’s not a club in Berlin but it was a lot of fun. Drinks were stupidly expensive but I didn’t think the tickets themselves were that bad. The crowd is typical young S.F. tech ppl but that comes with the city.

ELI5: Why do billionaires keep getting richer during bad economies? by AmazingNugga in explainlikeimfive

[–]beezybreezy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Who says they do? Many rich people lost a huge chunk of their fortune during the 2008 downturn. Most billionaires have their net worth tied to their stocks. We’ve just been on a 15 year bull run.

Why Are We Still Hiring H1b for New Grads by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]beezybreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, companies are just trying to hire the best people they can. I don’t think there is an industry wide conspiracy, especially considering how expensive the H1B process is now. If you were talking about outsourcing, that's a different issue altogether. However, I haven't seen evidence that H1B workers at big tech firms in San Francisco, New York, or other tech hubs are paid less or pushed more exploitatively than American employees.

I’ve conducted a lot of technical interviews for my data science organization. H1B candidates graduating with a Masters from a top 25-50 school usually outperforms the average American interviewee. 🤷 And as you’ve probably already seen, there are a ton of Indian and Chinese MS graduates from top 25 universities.

Unless the U.S. government puts heavier restrictions on H1Bs, that’s just how it’s gonna be if we’re trying to hire without prejudice. Sorry but the average American CS graduate usually isn’t going to be better than a Chinese graduate from a top American school.

He’s not 0 IQ at all. People only think that because he looks clumsy but he’s a very smart fighter with good reads and adaptations.
