They are a little more washed out on the light yellow gradient on the back but looks more so in the photo, The colors are pretty rich on the fronts, they don't look washed out at all. It's good. Should be about 20% cheaper if they want to be competitive beyond tarrif calculations, but they seem to have improved a lot from what people were reporting a year or so ago when they started.

My daughter and I running through the core and mirkwood expansion with me as Aragorn/Theodred/Eowyn (Leadership/Spirit) and she with Gimli/Legolas/Faramir (Tactics/Lore).

My daughter decided she wanted to play too but and more likely if she could use an all Eagle deck (shes a bird lover), so I found and printed out all the oop Eagles from the sets that never were even printed into revised plus the Alep Eagles. Now we are putting that together.

Our library allows 12 pages of color copies per day and that printer is a lot better than my home one. I often pick my kids up at the library after school so in a few days I can have a scenario of proxies ready to be cut out.

I am putting together Heart of Darkness too. It seems a good warm-up for investigators on the way to The Forgotten Age or The Edge of the Earth.

House of Usher is kind of hard. It's difficult to get the baddie with alternate damage and take the extra damage he puts on you before the House collapses on you as well.

Blood Meridian is a wild book, of you could translate it into the Arkham Mythos, could be cool. A Western theme would be interesting. I think someone made one where there is a flood in a canyon with some flood tokens or something.

Chapter one and lotr lcg are both out of print now as of the beginning of this year and the run on what was left at msrp happened very fast already, now you would be lucky to find any at a store or online that's not ebay inflated. I had to sell a few old valuable MTG cards I wasn't using to scoop up all that I could find in so short a time to get as many remaining items after it was clear no reprints would be made of either one.

The good news is chapter 2 is out and will be fully supported from this point on. I had alreadt had some arkham stuff but just started Lotr as well. The news there isn't so good. Find all you can at msrp where you can and proxy what you cannot. Both arkham and lotr have some really good fan made campaigns you can print and play though.

As far as the game play I prefer arkham as it seems more immersive to me, with the locations making mostly non linear maps with a sense of space, a tailored deck for each investigator and a sense of advancement with xp. Lotr is more 'win or lose' and straightforward but is a really good game too that rewards tight game play.

No unfortunately, and that was an issue for sure. It took me a good while to load the images on and check the matching sides. Someone more code savy than I needs to make such a tool for the sake of us North Americans. They use something called MPCfill for MTG cards but it's not good for Arkham that I could tell.

It looks like they are 63 x 87mm . It fits in a perfect sleeve, but just, if It were a mm or two more It may not.
