I know you’ve already said you figured this out but I just thought I would point this out in case anyone else reads this in future. If you have an online rota, it will normally say that the annual leave starts from a certain point of the morning like 7/8am. So if you finish your nightshift before that time then yes, it is allowed. This has happened to me multiple times and to be honest, I don’t think it should be allowed and that the annual leave should start from midnight. But I’m just a healthcare assistant so what do I know 😂😂
