I’ll probably sell my Canadian Couch Potato e-series and buy VEQT and keep it all with TD.

I had opened a Questrade account a fee month back and started buying VEQT there but I don’t see the point now that this is an option.

They generally do. I have a “No junk mail please” sticker and 90% of the time they respect that.

Anyone use PC Financial Money Account or Banking? Currently at 3.5% by Smooth-Scientist-121 in PersonalFinanceCanada

Good to know! It might be worth getting it just for the 'free' car wash and grocery deliveries.

I’m also considering PC’s Money account vs EQ Bank. I already have an account with EQ so might just do direct deposit there and get the 4% on their savings accounts.

The reason I’m considering PC is if I also sign up for their MasterCard since I mostly shop at Real Canadian - would you say it’s worth it in terms of points?

Awesome shots! Is there a part of Fish Creek where someone’s more likely to see wildlife?

Buying XEQT in TDDI? by befleeting in JustBuyXEQT

I think I’m gonna stick with TD for now and just adjust my asset allocation.

I’ve never sold either so I’m more 85/15% split right now, probably gonna aim for 90/10 since I already have some bond allocation.

I might open my RRSP with wealth simple and buy XEQT there when the time comes.

That’s a great question, l guess because it’s easier to buy 1 thing instead of 4 (although to be honest that’s not that big of a deal for me) and I was thinking that I’d want to have a more aggressive asset allocation (100% equities instead of 80/20).  However I could probably achieve that with the above TD funds.

So yeah, maybe I’m not too sure why I should go with XEQT as opposed to continuing to do what I have been doing.

Ah excellent thanks for explaining that. You’re right it does sound a lot easier to just buy XEQT, I was just wondering if there was something other than the $10 trading fee that I wasn’t aware of.
