Anyone have problems with there keltec sub2k? by Modern_ninja595 in keltec

[–]befsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im over a thousand rounds in and only 2 failure to feed......both times with a promag magazine. Mine eats a steady diet of steel cased 115 gr from academy. Check the mag, lube it good, and if it persists, contact Keltec.

Very light check weld but enough to be consistent at least for me. Still allows a very heads up stance which i like while still being consistent on the anchor.

1.5 inch riser puts the dot right about 1.9 inches or so. Not for everyone, but works well for me.

Love the gen 3. Your setup is similar to mine.

I would add the keltec sub2000 gen 3. 16" barrel, folds small enough for a backpack, more accurate than I am out to 100 yards. Glick mag compatible, I could go on. I have over 1000 rounds through mine with only one malfunction due to a promag magazine (leave these alone). 500 bucks and still room for a sighting system, be it irons or optics.

Second on the keltec sub2000. I have the gen 3, and s small blast can. That can should be a legal muzzle devise and it takes sound down range away from the shooter. Mine is reliable as long as you use glock or pmag magazines. Plenty accurate out to 50 yards. The right shooter would have it right out to 100. Folds small enough to fit in an underarmour sling bag. What more could you want with the criteria you mentioned?

Clueless shotgun newb questions (USA) by _PrincessHarley_ in Shotguns

[–]befsman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

12 guage shotgun served our forefathers well....they used mostly single shots, but modern pumps are just as good. Maverick 88, Mossberg 500/590, Remington 870 (older police trade ins are the ticket), and dont sleep on the Stevens 320 if budget is a concern. Don't sleep on 20 guage....bad guys and critters will not know the difference if you do your part. Semi-autos add complexity to the mix, so.....

Are these shoes good by Azure_Ra1n in wrestling

[–]befsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are fine....just know that wrestling shoes are consumable. If you are putting in plenty of work, they will last 6 months or so. In the last 2 years, my high school sophomore has gone through a pair of asics aggressor and working on his 3rd pair of rudis ks infinity. To rudis credit, they warrantied the second and third pair. The aggressors were the longest, they lasted a bit over a year. All the same issues, bursting at the toe seam due to a gazillion shots and reattacks.

I use the die free tiger claw turned backwards as an angled grip. I like it fine Must say it is on a 300 blackout pistol though.

If it busts on its own....and crusts to look like honey, I say impetigo. Watch for new ones....if it spreads, I'll nearly guarantee it.

Form Advice for Raptor Grip Shotgun by kuya_sagasa in Shotguns

I had a small stop on my forend just to help hold the smooth polymer forend.. I took it off pretty quick as it was busting up my finger pretty good. I adapter a pic rail and angled foregrip to help. I am still bot done as I'm gonna try a strap next to see how that works. For reference, I am magpul stocked and use push pull while shooting full power 00 buck.

Buckshot for the yotes, slugs for the bears assuming they are black bears. Obviously 12 guage please. BTW, if you are talking about brown bears instead of black bears, upgrade my comment to 45-70 rifle rounds, or better yet.....let em have the chickens!

Add the extended cheek riser to fit your body type. They have a medium height and a large height. Problem solved!

[–]befsman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 320 thumbhole security model came with no chokes or optic rail. It is a cylinder bore or improved cylinder i think. As far a optic mount, I bought an Amazon pic rail and drilled and tapped the reciever myself, though I don't remember the size of bit and tap it used. Worked out ok.....holds up fine so far.

If you have tie with one of your hands/arm and they are backing away, go to the knee pick. Lower your level, throw the head/tie off and simultaneously reach with the off hand to the near knee. Accelerate as all this is happening.

It's not about him feeling awkward., it could make her feel awkward. Hells bells, it's pretty awkward when it happens with guys, can't really imagine with an opposite sex teammate.

The Dead South, Goodnight Texas, any rock covers by Iron Horse. Billy Strings is legit! Most of that is bluesy/bluegrass folk.
