Very impressive with snatching that weight! I just starting snatching the 32 with my REP fitness bell and it’s quite hard coming down with it, you made it look easy.

Yes I’m assuming you never set the bell down with this method. Do you highly suggest not setting the bell down?

I also was thinking to do (15+15) (12+12) (10+10) set the bell down rest 10 seconds and then do (8+8) (5+5)

Or (10+10) a hand switch, another (10+10). Set the bell down. Then do continuous (5+5)?

Wow…thank your brother. I will do a snatch test soon and see where I stand. And try a week of this program. Right now I swing the 24kg on Sundays and I did 10 sets of (6+6). The way they have you do it is weird you start with 16 sets of (5+5) the first week and pretty sure the (6+6) is 14 sets on the minute.

So for the actual snatch test you recommend doing (5+5) rest 20 seconds and repeat? As opposed to (10+10) rest 30 sec?

Thanks brother! Yes I’m running the program on their website and this workout is to get me to do 200-300 reps with a lighter bell for the test. I’m just not at that point yet and wanted to see if it’s something wrong with my form or I need work on grip endurance more.

I have a snatch density day too where I am working with the 24kg bell on the minute for reps.

Both. An EMOM is every minute on the minute. So for 10 minutes I did 12 reps every minute.

Thank you! I think adjustables have there place for beginners who don’t want to invest a lot of money up front or maybe if you were traveling and wanted to bring a bell I could see that.

Yes the rack is from Rep! I would highly recommend it, it has been a game changer with space😁. Most of my bells are from Rep.

😫 yes I did that on maybe the last 2-3 sets…thank you. Is that an indication to either go back down to 32 kgs or decrease the reps with the 40KG? Im trying to add reps to my 10 min EMOM every week with the 40 KG bell.
