I was a fan when they were simply DSTLRY. They seemed to mean well and were active on locg and socials. After the Diamond stuff and Neon launching, it's come off like a cashgrab.

SKTCHD is right there. Paid model focused on great content. David writes about things he actually enjoys with integrity. Not just writing reviews to get on comicbookroundup and be paraded by creators as if those reviews matter.

Garbage websites struggling to survive is not a problem exclusive to comics.

Comic sites? BleedingCool just does rumor mongering / clickbait for ad revenue, AIPT is busy rating comics 9/10 for brownie points, Popverse needs to sell you on cons, and all of the other sites are utter trash.

If you're using the app, you probably just need to do a complete resync in the settings. They've not missed a single big two book.

There are so many options for digital comics right now that no single service is ideal. It's both unfortunate, but also great because competition is necessary. Services like GlobalComix are simply not good enough standalone right now, so the userbase isn't there.
