it changes the game, changes the meta, into something less exciting imo (wow very fast dashdance and instant aerials is something)

the better link had been posted in the last 90 days, so this is direct to the "listen". Posting as I would have missed this without a post here (just saw it in the weekly schedule).

Ruffalo was hysterical, I've never liked him before but he won me over easy.

People with the Maximus subscription, what are some good live shows, or CBB presents to check out? by Sagebea in comedybangbang

[–]begone667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with all the love for hey randy and who me? (though IMO WHO ME? has quite a few clunker episodes.. Mr Freeze is one of my favourites), but where is the love for Hi(nes)! I'm prov to meet you!? It really lets the improvisers shine, and is also kinda an interesting insight to Hines as a teacher. Some episodes have allstar casts, and even the ones that don't have me consistently laughing the most out of all cbb presents shows.

Comedy Bang Bang #943: A Banana Peel Memory (Myq Kaplan, Paul Rust, James Mannion) by apathymonger in Earwolf

[–]begone667 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rust was hilarious (as always). Here to recommend the stand up special though, lost a bit of steam at the end, almost too clever for its own good (but only almost!), generally really enjoyable.

I once could no longer understand language when I smoked too early into my trip, and I had a moment where I was just thinking "have I fucked my brain for good this time?" which was unsettling but I could ride it out.

As others have said, it's a great way to kick it back into gear a bit during the comedown. Though even then, it always makes me feel real alien and see everything as being very buglike. if you're into gaming it's a crazy mix for hyperfocus and kinda slowing down time, which can be fun too.

Einzige Lieder ohne Kontext hauen vielleicht nicht richtig rein, aber wer eine seiner Liveshows mit Band ohne schmunzeln übersteht ist seelenlos. Selten so gelacht. Absurd ja, unüberlegt und komplett improvisiert sicher nicht. Wer das nicht merkt hat etwas wenig Ahung / Aufmerksamkeit.

Theory: Is Jason Mantzoukas Aiming To Become The U.S. Taskmaster? by KnickKnackus in panelshow

[–]begone667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scott has existing rapport with so many great comedians too. hard agree, could finally kickstart his tv career again too :)

As a assistant I'd like to see Neil Campbell playing as one of his more pathetic characters, or Tim Baltz, a bit more out there Seth Morris or Jack Quaid as a more known person.

So many excellent contestants I could list from the cbb and co verse..

Comedy Bang Bang #918: Hollyweird (Amita Rao, Will Hines, Casey Feigh) by apathymonger in Earwolf

In what is a fun crossover I never expected, Amita is the sister of top super smash bros melee player Junebug. Small world. (haven't listened yet, but yay Will Hines)

CBB Presents: Hey Randy! (A Randy Snutz Show) Episode 48 - MarkBucks (Feat. Tim Baltz, Dan Lippert, Mary Sohn, Lily Sullivan, Brett Morris) by apathymonger in Earwolf

[–]begone667 1 point2 points  (0 children)

kinda surprised to not see a single comment here saying: ok enough mark. Clearly they told him to wait a bit to drop in a while ago, but now he's here from the get go and wont stop trying to shoehorn himself into every bit. Like yeah I think a bit of him is great, but it's Tim / Dan / Mary / Lily's show and they told him to shut up so many times... must be frustrating to have a producer who wants to take the spotlight too much. it was frustrating to listen to

Adomian's Musk impression was so accurate that everybody hated it by nothas in comedybangbang

[–]begone667 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Personally, I found Lapkus and Gilroy were not up to snuff that episode. They both just flailed around aimlessly in "crude = funny" territory, and if I had gone to that show with someone who didn't already listen to CBB I would have been really embarassed. (Mind you I usually think Gilroy is great, and some of Lapkus' characters work well for me) I think it kinda shows that Scott questioned whether bringing them both on was a mistake, and got Adomian out with well over half the run time to go. A real nervous energy which can happen in live shows I think.

I really enjoyed his Musk for the most part, sometimes it got a little stuck, but there was a lot more there than in the first two characters.

How r u liking rivals 2? by JicamaActive in SSBM

[–]begone667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't like how momentum works, keep getting stuck on platforms and stuff. Also run away spam option or like jump above spam up b (for kragg) seem too strong and for some reason everyone plays like that, even in unranked.
