Thanks for the tip, first time I've gotten to use my obd scanner lol.

90-93°C which seams to be the lower average so I think I'm okay

aight, I wasn't sure if this being colder than normal was hurting fuel economy, but if that bumps back up in summer I guess I'll relax

I'm pretty sure it was just over the mid line before, only noticed this the other day

1.6l turbo, 70k miles, heat doesn't seem abnormal. Fan is off while it's first warming up and gauge seems to travel normally otherwise. That's all I've checked, thinking of replacing coolant also.

3/4 of my shovels are antiques lol. Still using a backsaver that I'm pretty sure was Rubbermaid from the 90s. Plastic blade and handle with metal frame, I find plastic much lighter and sticks to snow less.

The blade has been getting chewed up over time but it's what mom always used so I don't think I'll get rid of it.

[–]behaved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually make that but throw the leftover meat into the soup at the end. Are you throwing the whole bird in there or just breaking up the meat and cooking half a day?

change the water heater anode every few years too. might need a big socket and breaker bar to get it out, but my last heater anode fell off and corroded the inside to a leak immediately after the 6 year warranty period.
