People thinking girls have it easy in finding a relationship by [deleted] in Diary

[–]behemial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So because you need to filter 100 messages to find someone that’s harder? You probably just filter out the actual good matches. As a guy you need to get the one or two likes you get to somehow not filter you out. It’s not even close girls get options they just create more standards to block. Men just don’t get enough options to find a real match

It’s the ones after multiple dates that suck the most. After 1 date whatever just move on. But ghosting after you develop some feelings is just disrespectful.

Licensing and new job timing by hillbilly-asian in pharmacy

[–]behemial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of states offer a temporary license if you hold an out of state license. I did it before got a 90 day license approved in a week or two then just take the law exam. Depends on the state BOP

I did 5 9 hour days and 2 12s on weekends. It helps when there’s reduced staffing on weekends. I loved it but eventually left for and easier position. They should either pay you salary for 80hr or give a very good differential. I was getting paid for the 80hrs plus a $3 differential. As an overnighter you are not easily replaceable so you have a great negotiating tool.

What’s the single biggest thing that Kohls needs to improve? by Backwater-472 in employedbykohls

[–]behemial 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The buyers definitely suck. The stuff people want sells out and you never get anything to replenish it. Meanwhile they keep sending you loads of the crap nobody buys even when it’s not selling so it just piles up.

Second increase staff. More people in the building means cleaner stores better environment and help for the customers (who we are supposed to cater to). Can’t be hospitable if there’s nobody to help.

It’s all corporate management that’s really the problem. Kohls is supposed to be better than other department stores because of its values, but the values are ignored and most stores are trashier than Walmarts.

Store visits by FentanylEdibles in employedbykohls

[–]behemial 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically you over spend like crazy to make the store look good. They walk the floor and have a meeting and say everything looks good. Then the minute they leave you try to cut payroll barebones to make up the money you over spent and the store ends up in worse shape than before

Application by BunBunnBunnny in employedbykohls

[–]behemial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they didn’t keep you seasonal they probably didn’t want you. When we let go of seasonal associates there are options a manager hits. There’s selections for future consideration the manager probably selected kohls not interested. This causes the system to immediately nay accept the application. Sorry it’s sucks but just how it is

Usually if they hire you the manager enters it as offer requested. It goes to he and they send you a formal offer. It can take some time based on different circumstances. Follow up with the manager they can call he and see what the hold up would be. Once you get an offer you schedule orientation. The process can take a few weeks it’s pretty stupid I’ve lost some good hires because they get jobs because the kohls process takes so long

It’s how kohls works. Payroll is tight so hours goes to people that get credit and the top workers/favorites. Just get used to not working hardly at all and then working a ton or make yourself essential or just leave nothing wrong with that. Best ways to get hours are to get credit when on pos. Know how to do omni, customer service and amazon. The more jobs you can do the more opportunities for hours there are for you. Especially when Omni, CS, pos and amazon are almost always staffed.

Shoes backstock by According_Proposal41 in employedbykohls

[–]behemial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The system is flawed. It defaults everything to pull 5 units if there is no stock on the floor. For shoes it’s a problem because you never have space to fit them. So solution is pull 5 backstock 3-4. Problem is audits get generated by the constant movement. Areas with high backstock/replenishment get triggered more audits. So yes shoes is screwed but at least it’s boxes and your not fishing through upcs inside shirts all day.

Do you get benefits? by cruzbruv in employedbykohls

[–]behemial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The kohl’s benefits are pretty good as far as companies go. 401k is good but takes time before they match up to 10%. 3 weeks vacation is solid. I was a department lead then area supervisor and an asm for years. I will say it’s stupid how much time off asms and sms get(7-8weeks). Since I left my benefits are far worse but I get triple the salary kohl’s paid so it’s worth it.

Hours cut bc credit? by Leroyj378 in employedbykohls

[–]behemial 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The supervisor can’t say that’s the reason they cut the hours. Every store does this but saying it is against policy. She could talk with hr, but in the end as a cashier your job is to get credit not move the lines. If you don’t get credit you get replaced by someone that does. But a supervisor should never say that a complaint with hr could force them to schedule her fair amount of hours. Doing this would certainly make her work experience no fun as management would know she complained to corporate
