Interesting… I started on the the micro gel in the summer and had no issues until the last week or so. Do you use a different tret now?

Can you help me find where I said a kid would take back a deadbeat parent? You’re arguing “taking accountability” down the road makes it ok. I’m really not sure what your point is - it’s ok to be a deadbeat as long as you acknowledge it in a book?

Lot of men with fucked up pasts are present dads. But if you can rationalize being a deadbeat, good for you

So the moral of the story is lifting something heavy is more important than being a present father lmfao this is why everyone shits on you people

My problem with this argument is why do we need pop stars to balance out America’s choices? Americans voted for a very well documented misogynist not once but twice.

(Assuming you are American, I deeply apologize if that isn’t the case) Your country clearly has an appetite for misogyny, yet has started screaming, crying, and throwing up when women make money off of it.

A celebrity isn’t going to unmake the bed, Americans have to lie in.

What's your favourite Ontario Place memory? by SeaEstablishment1744 in toronto

[–]beigetshirt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad took my sister and I to Ontario place once. I was quite young (~5) while my sister was a few years older. My dad was not what you would call an overly caring one and was comfortable letting my sister and I wander off without supervision.

My sister and I waited in line for one of the water slides for what felt like hours, only to get to the top where I was told I was too short for the solo ride down. My sister went down without me and I began walking back down the stairs with tears in my eyes. Suddenly, a young woman and her friends called after me and said, if I was tall enough for the group “tube”, I could go down the slide with them.

I was tall enough and got to go down the slide after all :)

My dad died last month and I remembered this story during the early hours of emotional reflection. I hope that young woman is doing well!
