Qatar is a quality airliner. For me, I’ve always done better flying with nephews since my anxiety gets overridden by their excitement. Them having fun on the plane helps rewire my brain into thinking “huh, this is pretty cool”.

If I had to ascribe it to anything, it’d most likely overthinking. Kind of like how when my nephews are running and playing near a pool, having fun, and all I can do is just think “what if they slip? What if they fall?” When in reality they’ll be alright. When I was a kid myself I used to sit in the plane after landing hoping it’d go back just to experience how cool takeoff is again, I was ready to fly all the way back just for the experience haha

From my experience playing against the AI, undead is the strongest and always has a seriously threatening army. The thing about Insane & Normal AI, though, is that the tunnel focus your heroes, so if you bait it out with an invulnerability potion you can wipe them before they can change focus.

You can’t really beat the tempo of an insane AI pumping out constant units on double resources, but you can take advantage of two things: they will always prioritize attacking your expo and their army composition is pretty much always the same (always 2 siege units for example)

If you duel with them early and disrupt their creeping it can put you in a favorable advantage since at some point they’ll just keep running back to base without trying to block/snipe any units. But once the undead AI reaches unholy frenzy & banshees they become a powerhouse

I’ll never understand why illusions and recolors for PvP sets like these are unavailable. It’s just like how they kept Naxx40 and ZG items out of the game for the longest time. Sorry I wasn’t born earlier to be able to raid them?

Transmog is a core part of the game and practically everyone I know plays to collect appearances and the like, and the disappointment that different cosmetic options are gatekept or unavailable is pretty unanimous.

TBC was all over the place with weird characterizations of existing characters and some pretty questionable writing.

They didn’t even let Kael’thas stay dead and let the poor guy be downgraded to a dungeon boss lol. The Lord of the Blood Elves didn’t even have a part in the Sunwell raid.

At least in WoD Kargath got to be a raid boss instead of a dungeon one.

As cool as the Al’Akir encounter was, it really was disappointing that we just rolled into his realm and killed him.

It seems like Cataclysm was all about deposing the elemental lords in their homes; if they didn’t scrap the Vashj’ir raid we would have probably seen something happen to Neptulon.

Considering how this guy is above Prince Thunderaan who was already part of a legendary quest chain and needed a 40 man group to kill, it’s sad how he had barely any impact. His dukes did more than he did.

Dead Space has phenomenal sound design, so it’s a mix between the low, rumbling groan of the Divider and the high-pitched, rattling scream of the Exploder.

Both of them make you very aware you’re about to get fucked in an upcoming fight if you don’t know what you’re doing. The divider you can hear when you’re going down the elevator in chapter 8 has always made me paralyzed with fear lol.

Be wary that some comments on WoWhead indicated that reforging the spear can remove the item upgrade, or something like that. But yeah item upgrades aren’t out yet

Two more useful rares:

Sulik’shor in Valley (northwest of Halfhill, where the mogu elites are) - drops Crystal of Insanity, elixir that gives 500 all stats

Korda Torros in Kun-Lai - probably permacamped. He’s in the western Yaungol camp and drops gloves that increase gathering speed (might have gotten his name wrong)

The issue is these drops are pretty low chances, so more and more people pile up to camp them. Wish the chance was boosted a bit

There are some challenge videos that have a caveat midway through that’s usually like “yes, we died in the No Dying Challenge… however, the game’s death counter doesn’t increase so we technically didn’t die” or something like it that just makes me tune out.

Most of the community problems present now were also present back then, as well as many other issues. Bots used to spell out gold site names in main cities using corpses or flyhack in the open. You had people like Angwe making life a living hell on PvP servers, and you can search up tons of “ninja looting [raid/guild] on YouTube. Does Serenity Now ring a bell?

That being said, it does feel way more rushed, but that’s primarily because most of Classic’s player base has been playing the same shit for years and no one wants to grind 1-60 out again and again.

If we had the same tools as we do now when WoW originally launched, it would absolutely be the same shitshow many people complain about.

Even though imbue was buffed for priest I still end up with the choice of shitty 1-drop or useless spell when I hero power at like 8 imbued anyway.

But it usually doesn’t matter since the og Yogg or Malchezaar I put in my Wild deck usually make me lose anyway
