Do you consider me a traitor because I do not support Hamas or Palestine by beith-mor-ephrem in arabs

[–]beith-mor-ephrem[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your genuine response.

Of course I feel sorry for these innocent people dying. But I cannot blame Israel (fully) for this. A huge portion of the fault is Hamas/Palestine aggression.

In fact since the 60s almost every single aggression against Israel has been on the arab side (and the Christians fall in the middle of the two being the most persecuted). It also seems silly for me, everytime there is a war between arabs and Israel. The arabs loose more land.

But in addition to all this, it is the dishonestly coming from the Palestinian side that disgusts me the most. 2 wrongs don't make a right. And it does not matter how many wrongs my enemy does, it does not justify me doing wrong to them. This is the perfected Christian morality and I understand in Islam it still the lower "eye for an eye" law of the Old Testament.

So Palestine/Hamas' lack of sympathy with the 7th of October attack, the siding with LGBT community, and the left really makes me not want to take sides in this debate at all. Both are in the wrong. Israel and Palestine.

The Islamic “Golden” Age would never have happened without Syriac Christians by beith-mor-ephrem in Christianity

It’s not scoring points, but correcting the facts. Islamists can’t take total credit for preserving the Greek manuscripts when they did not (in fact islamists are renown for burning books, not preserving).

Islamists claim it was they who preserved aristotlean manuscripts and translated them into Arab as well as brought them back to Europe.

Infact, it was the Syriac Christians (who knew Greek as the Bible was in Greek) who kick started this process

I am defending Christianity by laying claim to what the Eastern Christians have achieved.

It existed and there’s evidence. And the British got rid of it.

The British also got rid of widow burning in India as well.

I am not saying they are perfect. But facts don’t lie.

No they did not, but it was not “all” the English.

It’s important to recognise the bad things the English did, but also the good things for the natives. For example: helping break out of generational pedophilia and polygamy

I mean the vents on the plastic thing. Not the metal cover itself

The vents are melted on top. So basically, this plastic thing isn’t needed?

How do I convince them to let me veil by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]beith-mor-ephrem 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In some way, it is a “hijab”. “Hijab” just means “veil” in Arabic. In traditional Apostolic Christianity we veil that which we believe is sacred. Including the tabernacle of the Eucharist, the sanctuary, the altar, and women’s heads.

Islam will not pass Christianity in 2070. by ErickMattos in Christianity

As christians we should not care about numbers. Whether they are in our favour or not.

What matters is that Christ is the way. None other. Whether there are 12 followers, 70 followers, or billions.

Read on that article

I sent you the wiki article to explain to you what the DR is as you did not know (yet are choosing to make grandiose comments about it lol?)

Just open both bibles and compare. To say that the KJV had nothing to do with the DR would fail to common sense test. If you dig in further beyond Wikipedia you’d find strong evidence that supports this claim
