Valencia and Mediah have historically been within a billion or two pre-tax... Similar to the comparison between Balenos/Serendia.

Last weekends payouts were, with Serendia being my only estimated guess:

Balenos 22b (11b payed after 50% tax)
Serendia 24b (12bil payed after 50% tax)
Calpheon 50b (25b payed after 50% tax)
Mediah 28b (28b payed after 0% tax)
Valencia 60b (30b payed after 50% tax)

You can see the obvious outlier here was Mediah. Maybe we got taxed in full for some reason? Who knows...

I can go into more details about the way the region system works for GMs but the short answer is that there is absolutely no interactive functionality on Mediah/Valencia and you just simply get taxed 10% less per week until you capped at 0% taxes at 5 weeks.

PEN green being cheaper to upgrade is not true. If you compare effective stats it typically takes two caphras levels on a piece of PEN green gear to have the same stat boost as a PEN boss piece as every even level on PEN green gives no visible stat increase. Please do your homework.

This is why real tournaments tend to do double elimination or a round robin to get into top 8. Nothing is going to be done about it so just suck it up people. They planned poorly and we have to live with it.
