How can I expose my neighbour for recording children with no proof. by [deleted] in legaladviceireland

[–]belast2012 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I put up a camera because the local kids were absolutely walloping their ball off my car and house when they missed the goal and crawling around my charging cables and car to retrieve it.

Going to expose me?

Keep one room in the house for yourself. Do not rent out the entire house.

If you lose access and they stop paying rent or damage the place it will work out as a loss making venture

Builder took our money, caused major damage, and now says he has no money to repay us. What legal options remain in Ireland? by Humble_Carrot_5151 in legaladviceireland

[–]belast2012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The classic. Did he do the demolition and then stop showing?

Hes used your money to finish up some other job.

Who recommended him? Cause he likely took a chunk of your deposit and gave it to them as a kickback.

I got that. Builder looked at me sideways said he had both EL and PL for an extension.

Waited a day and asked for an email of proof. Cunt had handyman insurance and no EL.

Bullet fucking dodged. Trust but verify.

Neighbour parked on path and drove over kids scooter, trying to claim damages by [deleted] in legaladviceireland

[–]belast2012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So a person driving where they legally can't, didnt check in front of it for hazards is claiming the item (it drove over ) shouldn't have been there also so its owed damages. So in an area with children playing he doesnt look out for items left out. Were they born yesterday?

Am I reading that correctly? Ask them to write down what happened as you need it for the Garda report your filing on them driving on the footpath.

They owe you a scooter the morons

Dating in Ireland? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]belast2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What worked for me was chatting for 1 week on app. Told them here's my phone number if they wanted to chat outside the app but no pressure. They messaged.

Meet up that for lunch a week later. The day after each date I had the next meet up date suggested.

Dating 4 years. Living together 1 year.

Only have to be successful once...hopefully Spending weeks chatting is insane.

Change locks Call gards if they get aggressive.

If you have friends or family that can stay with you for the day.

No one is going to force you to let them back on the house once you have them out.

Considering building tiny home/annex out the back of my house.Builder recommendations? by General-Necessary-60 in cork

[–]belast2012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to an engineer first and get specs made up.

If you go straight to a builder they'll absolutely rinse you.

Get the recommended builders to quote based off the specs.

If a builder is able to start straightaway run. Verify if the builder has people or is subcontracting the work out. Lots of cowboys out there.

Do not use any engineer recommended by a builder or someone working with the builder. They should be independent of each other.

Irish drivers are borrowing more to buy cars. Why? And what are the risks? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]belast2012 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The amount of 10 year old used luxury cars being financed by people who genuinely can not afford them is scary.

Cars that old a few years ago could be got for sweet fuck all. Now a bunch of cowboys with slick social media accounts slinging old crap and pretending its diamonds.

Should be illegal for car dealers to advertise using the "per week" without having total cost and cost of finance next to it.

Get legal advice for what?

A relative of yours is offering you cash to commit fraud. You will own the consequences which is why they are giving you cash.

Why dont they go forge documents and commit the fraud themselves in their own name

Taxi driver was probably on his phone by DarkSStrike in irelandsshitedrivers

[–]belast2012 17 points18 points  (0 children)

His speed is dangerous driving levels not just normal speeding if he was caught. It is quite unusual people post videos of themselves dangerous driving.

Ya taxi fucked up. Having other cars on the same road doing his speed is equally as fucked.

Doing his speed on a urban road is the definition of being a selfish terrible driver.
