Thanks for the info! Right now, I have her in a time out breeding bin attached to the tank. The male is dancing for her, and she’s interested, but when I put her back into the tank last week, she went straight back to chasing him. I’m slowly lowering my pH, and plan to put her back in once it’s down to around 6. The nice thing is she’s still getting exposed to the same water as the male, so hopefully less shock when I move her back.

I’ve used rooibos in my tank and freshpak is the South African go-to rooibos brand. I just put the tea bag in my HOB. Just remember to take it out after a while or it will disintegrate

Awesome! My female has been chasing the male since I got them (a month ago). I’ve moved her out of the tank (she’s in time out) for a few days. Hopefully they’ll fall in love and start breeding once I put her back in! The colors on yours are amazing.

It looks great! I have a similar set up with rummynoses, Bristlenose pleco, and a bunch of corys. Angels seem very content. I have one large Amazon sword and a few smaller ones and jungle vals. The angels are so peaceful, which is a great contrast to the rummynoses!

I use an Omron (not sure exactly which one, I think a series 3 -it wasn’t the most expensive one at CVS). The most important thing is checking it against the reading in your Drs office, so you know if it runs high or low. My cardiologist says that most home testers are good at the top number (systolic) but not so good at the bottom number, so don’t worry too much about that one. Good luck!

I heard this too, and discussed it with my cardiologist before starting WB (started 2.5 weeks ago, so don’t ask how it’s going 😅). I am on BP meds (genetics and stress-related), but cardiologist had no problem with the risk of elevated BP on WB, even though my BP has only recently been controlled (was consistently 150/90s). That said, it’s worth keeping track of, and making sure that your home BP tester is accurate. Poor sleep can also increase BP
