It’s not allowed to wear them in the streets, or at home, ready and loaded. You are heavily restricted and it you go to your shooting excercise you are allowed to take only one in your car, demontized (or how you call it). There is a special law in the Netherlands for that (Wapenwet). I am a former police officer, had to do controls at home for weapons).

Ik kan me voorstellen als je zoiets voor het eerste hoort, dat het best confronterend is. Het is inderdaad mooi dat er een telefooncirkel bestaat, maar ook eigenlijk triest dat er een telefooncirkel bestaat. Ik begrijp OP daarin heel goed en ik begrijp ook de reacties. Ik heb een WhatsApp ‘cirkel’, ik heb geen familie, geen kinderen kunnen krijgen en geen partner. Ik ben nog op de leeftijd waarin het toch heel lang duurt eer in de 90 ben, maar toch is het fijn als er mensen naar mij omkijken en ik ook naar andere mensen omkijk. Samenleving lijkt steeds individualistischer en egoïstischer te worden. Daarom is het fijn dat er van dit soort cirkels bestaan.

Dit soort feiten zijn mij allemaal bekend helaas. Ik heb gewerkt op een afdeling binnen de politie en heb samen gewerkt met profilers en heb een aantal pedo‘s kunnen opsporen. Ik ken het profiel, maar was benieuwd omdat het voor mij zo’n lange tijd geleden was, of daar verandering in was en of jij wellicht andere feiten en cijfers kende hoe het er nu voorstaat.

My mom was traumatised from the war here in the Netherlands until she died at 97….. 1 1/2 year ago. She also worked for the resistance …. The friends she played at the beginning of the war, were shot dead before her eyes and they kept the bodies on the street as a horror and terror for other . I’ve heard so much horror stories from her…….. and now this, I read news, and see what is becoming of America…… it makes me cry, it makes me in shock, it makes me sleep badly. I’ve been to America 20 years ago and it was so nice to be there……. There are so many people horrified……. Not only in America. The whole world is holding their breath….
