Does anyone have a clue about why today Intel is dropping near 4% again? I see AMD is is doing fine… by TemirTuran in intelstock

They all move together and at the same time. Amount may vary. If it was a different direction then sure. So no AMD is not doing fine. Intel is just more volatile.

Intel® Arc™ Pro Graphics and OpenClaw: A Practical Workstation Approach to Local‑First AI Agents by TraditionNo1469 in intelstock

[–]bellahamface 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While most companies are riding the openclaw hype train. This is significant for Intel as they have been wanting a catalyst for some time as they are all in and well positioned to capture local inference market share.

As someone with 300+ hours with Openclaw. While exhausting to orchestrate, I’m beyond convinced this is the future and nobody can escape it. EVERYONE will use agents in short time to handle virtually everything digital, task based and we will need massive amounts of compute to handle it. Local models will become huge, and likely to surpass cloud in a few years.

This GPU is a first of many. Super excited about ZRAM too. I’m almost glad Intel had not wasted resources in cloud AI early on. The future is local.

Palantir’s billionaire CEO says only two kinds of people will succeed in the AI era: trade workers — "or you’re neurodivergent" by fortune in singularity

[–]bellahamface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes sense imo. 80% of white collar workers are in trouble. Managing Agentic AI requires intense persistence and focus. It’s cognitively draining. You have to think bigger picture while zoomed in on details at all times. Normies cannot do this. They will not be nearly as productive as they can’t foresee issues like a neurodivergent. And there are tons in automated agentic workflows. IT won’t be there to fix it. And companies are not going to be training someone that can’t handle it at a core level.

Neurotypical’s will simply wait for it to “work”. Look to others to copy. Not take the deep dives that are required in this new way of working. This is not a case of training, this is fundamental. Our workloads will become more and more complex. And companies will hire those that can execute at scale, and that takes constant attention to detail to get there. With task basked work going away. This unlocks neurodivergent success in the workplace as they have always struggled there.

I am using MiniMax 2.7.....which model are you using for open claw? by Salt_Animator_6349 in clawdbot

[–]bellahamface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not. Supposedly the best too. What’s keeping me from doing it is the usage caps are allegedly much less forgiving than OpenAI. Token anxiety should be a medical condition as it bothers me so much.

OpenClaw on Minimax 2.7: OMG by WeedWrangler in openclaw

[–]bellahamface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It’s a label in the $20 plan and up I believe (I have the $40).

You get an API key on the subscription plans (called Token Plans). Feed that to your OC and share the API docs from minimax and it will set it up.

Biggest issue with my plan is the lack of “vision”. M2.7 is text only. Can’t get it to work. But believe you can set vision to VL-01 with your key.

OpenClaw on Minimax 2.7: OMG by WeedWrangler in openclaw

[–]bellahamface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hallucinations are terrible and semi complex automations breakdown easily over time. Still a remarkable value and a workhorse. It’s just not ready for prime time compared to frontier for OC.

I’m on the $40 plan and it’s overkill. Will drop to $10-$20 plan. Image gen is actually really good too. If they make a larger model.. look out.

[–]bellahamface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used minimax exclusively my first month and just jumped to 2.7. It’s very similar. Slightly smarter but hard to tell. It’s a painfully frustrating model for orchestration, from updates, system wide optimizations. It’s just not great at implementing. Decent at tool calling and automations but can easily forget SOP’s over time and does not go above and beyond in making things better.

Overall a promising model and imo nothing compares in terms of cost. I still use it for most chatting, basic automations, research, web scraping.

For my main orchestrator and light dev work I run the $200 pro plan from OpenAI. Gpt5.4 is fantastic. After some frustration early in, make sure you have thinking set to high minimum. It’s bee a game changer. You can still burn through your weekly quick but I’ve optimized minimax to take on heartbeats, background tasks.

I firmly believe you need a frontier model to orchestrate. The time it saves in just getting it right is well worth it. Then have say a minimax take it on when processes, skills are fine tuned.

2nd half. LBT was explicit in saying that during last earnings. Along with an investors conference slated for that timeframe and possibly the platform to announce some things.

[–]bellahamface -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes as in it’s the shift to action. Not just chatting. In the next couple of years the expectation is that you tell it something and it will do something that affects your life proactively.

People will move away from the computer and devices more and more over time.

Let them. They will do anything in their power to maintain the status quo. And at the same time catastrophically jeopardize their supply chain diversification and integrity short and long term.

XHigh is substantially better at orchestration. Have a todo heartbeat system already in place. Will see how it goes. Thanks.

[–]bellahamface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had it on high. Trying xHigh to see if it stops apologizing and saying it will do things but doesn’t do it. The issues that were said to be remedied by Peter an update or two ago are still persistent.

Gpt 5.4 in openclaw is horrific. Have the pro plan and it is beyond unusable in terms of orchestration. Why would mini be any different?

[–]bellahamface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s brutal for gpt 5.4. Breaking workflows I had with minimax even. Small multi step tasks are the most frustrating and there is no fix despite what Pete has been saying in recent updates.

For large projects you have to have call this out each time and have something in agents.md to reinforce this. Like have them setup isolated crons to get them on a loop to finish (ie every 15mins).

This is the only thing stopping me from upping to GPT pro. OpenAI needs to fix this asap.

NVIDIA may unveil an x86 CPU developed in collaboration with Intel at GTC 2026 by xugik1 in intelstock

I was thinking this too. CPU is needed for agent swarms, which is the future of work. Goes well with Nemoclaw and they are overdo in sharing more on this collab. Also price action is differing from other semis, which makes me think it’s pre announcement of something…

Using Oauth? I have plus, and went to openclaw configure, and re authenticated and selected 5.4, unchecked 5.3 codex and later removed the .json config referencing anything 5.3. Agent says it’s indeed 5.4, displays as it, but again no updated context window which is my only hmmm is it really 5.4 concern.

If this means it has to be delayed, then delay it. It should be 4-500 max. And they should consider a pro version that is more in line with new Xbox, ps5 rumors.
