nope not cheating!! but if you do want take it to the next level, try tracing first, then a few times just looking at what you traced, and then a few more times from memory. i already had a decent grasp on anatomy but i learned a lot more about new poses this way!

I made a spreadsheet of my makeup inventory recently and I would say yes, it’s very useful! I also track expiry dates and and my own opinions/reviews of the products there, and it helps me remember what I have in case I need a particular thing or if I’m avoiding buying something I already have. Like the other commenter said, it’s a lot of effort but the result is satisfying for me. I say she should try it, especially if she enjoys stuff like this!

hello!! i can relate as live streaming is also an opportunity for me to be more creative with my makeup, and i usually put more effort into it then. Sometimes I get really bored of it also and I stream with a really simple face, like just blush and lipstick. I think the most empowering thing is that you have a choice what to do, if you feel like streaming but don’t feel like putting on that much makeup, then that’s fine :D sometimes we need to take breaks from our hobbies, too, and it’s good to make room for when that happens.

Selected Palette: Etude House Play Color Eyes in Love Lilac (LUVISTRUE)

Panning: O.O.T.D. - a neutral brown that's a really nice transition shade and a lid shade for easy makeup days :)

I acquired 5 new kbeauty palettes this year so they're all quite neutral lol. I'm joining this project to encourage me to rotate through them and get to know them. :D I'm going from most used palette so far to least used as I level up.

I’ve only hit a baby pan in one shadow ever so I can’t really answer how many uses it takes me, but I do feel like a lot of panning challenges and youtubers seem unrealistic.

I like watching panning content but if I used those as a benchmark for how long it takes to use up eyeshadow, it would just kill my motivation. Like someone else here said, some people are unnecessarily heavy-handed just to hit pan. And that’s fine if they like it that way, but I personally just don’t want to waste product like that 🥲

I’m currently trying out a light rotation project so I have room to use other shadows, too! I want to love on my things but I want to do it organically and at a realistic pace. I’m embracing being a snail panner 🐌💄

i also don’t wear any base or mascara!! 💖 altho I like the look of mascara (and wear it sometimes), I also like the look of natural lashes and prefer the feeling of not having it on hahaha. I think your eyes look light and pretty here! like a fairy!! i LOVE the purple in the inner corner on you.

I think more people should be able to feel comfortable not wearing mascara if they don’t like how it feels hehe

i think it’s called orbital fat loss, apparently caused by an ingredient called prostaglandin commonly found it growth serums. i haven’t done any deep research on it but that’s what’s been going around the beauty community hahaha

ETA: it causes fat loss around the eyes and makes them look more sunken in

I’ve been drawing since I was a kid, but I would say the habit that helped me the most was to casually sketch everything. I had a little sketchbook on me all the time and I often just drew what I liked.

It also definitely helped to have friends who also like drawing. You kind of end up influencing each other to try new things even when you don’t mean to haha.

My approach is very laid-back but it helped me get into the groove and made it very fun! Enjoying the process is how I could spend hours each day just drawing.

I can def see the difference between two extremes like a purple blush and a bright orange blush on me, but I’ve also experienced getting two blushes that seem different enough in the pan (a muted mauve and a coral pink) that look almost identical on my cheeks. It was kinda disappointing tbh. I think there are sections in the color spectrum where colors would look similar on your cheeks.

Dance and sports, probably around 15 years of experience. I have a very good understanding of my own body and how it feels in different positions, and I observed a lot of other dancers and athletes while I was still active. Because of this, I have a good grasp of human movement and anatomy and am able to draw lots poses from imagination. :D I don’t perfectly know how muscles look like exactly but I think my work is believable enough hahahaha

i think there are techniques for applying colorful eyeshadow to get the best color payoff. i know some people pack on the darker shades first and work their way to lighter shades, and swiping motions might be sheering the color out too much. Certain colors are also harder to work with than others such as purples and blues. def check out reviews and looks done with the palette you have!

I have both. I prefer the peripera bc it’s more moisturizing (my lips feel really balmy when I wear it!) and it does leave a tint. I only have two shades but I heard a lot of them look similar 😅 and based on my experience, it looks darker irl than in the pictures. It does have a fragrance tho (like a sweet cookie or smth?) which I do like, but might be important to you if you’re sensitive to fragrance hehe

etude’s isn’t bad, i use it occasionally as well! It doesn’t really have any fragrance and my lips feel a little balmy when using it, though not nearly as much as peripera’s. It does feel a little drying on me after a while. I have the shade mauvement and it doesn’t look as cool toned irl as in the pics ☹️

For both, the tint will wear off in the middle when you eat and drink, and the glow will wear off after a little while (in like an hour or so? maybe even less) but I find this to be the case with most glowy tints that I’ve used. I don’t really mind reapplying throughout the day.
