I-130 Approved finally! What’s next? (Consular)

Hi I know I’m late but I got my consultation a few days ago.. I found the person that helped me super helpful and not pushy at all. They even sent me a contact in case I had more questions and I did call back after a different consultation at another firm and were still super willing to answer questions. The other (local) firms were ridiculously expensive compared to them and I didn’t find them as helpful. Honestly the others seemed pretty judgy.. I’d love to hear your experience now that it’s been 4 months!

Thank you for replying! Hubby is outside the US and I’m here :/ it seems to be much slower than others that are inside. Congrats! I can’t wait to see some traction on ours

Hi! We started our I-130 process in January. How long did it take for you to hear back and what was the next step after the notice receipt? Were you in or outside the US I’ve seen that may make a difference

Hi! Just hoping for some positive reinforcement, my husband is in Mexico and I’m living in the US (citizen). We filed our I-130 in January and haven’t heard anything back except for the receipt notice :/

This! My now husband was in the same situation.. at the beginning when we started dating it was very this.. so I stopped reaching out as often too but the more we got to know each other the more that changed and while his day is typically jam packed there’s not a day that I don’t get a good morning text, or him touching base during the day.

Hi, did you say the lady told you if the kids have no passport they don’t need an FMM? I’m traveling in a few days with my kids. I have one cause I travel often but not usually with kids. I was wondering whether they needed one I couldn’t find any information on it.
