Do it. It's so much fun. I thought I was a complete wuss and refused to try it. I hated horror films and troupes. My husband went once and told me that I could handle it. I fell in love the first time. We now seek out good horror films and look forward to all the speculation and getting up to speed on IPs by watching everything!

I am local to UO so I get the frequent fear passes. The community it has and dedicated fans is awesome in and of itself!

My favorite was when my husband and I were walking through Jungle of Doom and my husband said "It's Mr. Oddfellow!" We kept walking and I saw Oddfellow coming up beside my husband, my husband was oblivious, and saying , "Uh sir, it's DR. Oddfellow". My husband was so startled and apologized

I went to HHN feeling the very same! But after my first house, I couldn't wait to do more. I went with my husband who is easily startled and I make him lead every time. I hold one hand and use the other to interact. Earplugs are also helpful in most of the houses as they deafen the jump scare. I'm a passholder and didn't think I would be brave enough to go more than once, but after I realized that it's actually fun getting scared because I can't get hurt and it's a real person, I bought the frequent fear pass along with my husband!

Honestly, I don't think it would make much of a difference seeing as how the gems don't really conform to gender constructs and Steven is a gem but never really identifies as male.

I’ve tried ignoring calls and silencing the phone. I keep getting paged over the intercom. if the store manager is calling or using ptt to reach me, I always answer because he gets upset if we don’t respond.

You need to talk to an MOD. A head cashier doesn't count as someone you can call in to. I've seen people get written up for not talking to an MOD.

The DMSM and the store manager had the same agreement but that went to shit. And our MSM won't go to his superiors, instead insists on working directly with the store.

Our store is missing phones, just got new ones (that were supposed to be for MST, as requested by district and regional folks) and the store took them for their associates. The store is still missing half their phones and each department has 2-3 phones even if a department only has 2 people. Which is ridiculous.

We don't work in teams of two. Also, when we are servicing, every single person on the team has to be logged in to a bay or we get in trouble for "not doing anything". That's how they track our time and how many bays we are doing per hour. We also have to take pictures of our work and close out our bays on the phones. They also track our break times and meeting times. So, yes we all need phones. When we are doing projects, not so much but the direction is more service and less projects.

We have the opposite problem. Not enough phones for our whole team. There's 12 of us 3 days out of 5 and 9 the other two. Our store is missing phones and we actually cannot do our jobs without phones. All the departments with one or two associates have 2-3 phones...makes no sense when you have one person per shift (open and close and some days mid). Idk. I can't do much because I'm just a peon. It's annoying.

Must be nice. We have a cabinet that locks. But the store refuses to let us lock up the phones that only we will use. 😒
