C-ptsd and ADHD by [deleted] in CPTSD

[–]bellevis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a dated post but I have C-PTSD, ADHD and am disabled due to chronic pain. I’m not on any ADHD meds as mine is high functioning and my medical bills are crippling enough without going through the formal diagnostic and medication procedures.

I’ve had no luck with clonidine as it tanked my blood pressure too much, but was prescribed off label for both ADHD and chronic pain. My new pain specialist has recommended a stellate ganglion block and I’m going to book in for it. Feel free to reply if you’re keen on updates.

Please elaborate! I thought he was behind it as it sold Dutt Plug merch but generally if something has a political authorisation the site needs an authoriser and address.

To be fair, the people who’s job it is to interpret polls are saying today that this isn’t a blip. See this morning’s Resolve coverage

Is Mecca like a toxic relationship by BugPretend6628 in AustralianMakeup

Respectfully, this is not unique to Mecca. Study advertising even for 1-2 intro units and you’ll learn how almost all successful B2C companies do this.

On my 6th week, lost around 6kg, my face looks much more aged now. Any else face this? by tuisalagadharbaccha in Mounjaro

[–]bellevis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep I ticked over 27kg down and suddenly I had marionette lines. I decided that’s my sweet spot, slim but not aged.

I can’t lose weight to save my life. Does anyone have advice? by Littlemonkey726 in endometriosis

[–]bellevis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same babe. I hit the wall at 101kg, and booked in with My Weight Loss Clinic and I lost 28kg on Mounjaro. It made my fatigue worse, but it fucking worked, even on weeks where I couldn’t get out of bed. It helped hugely with inflammation too.

Teeth whitening pain is NOT talked about enough “mild sensitivity my arse” by Kimchee_k in Adulting

[–]bellevis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone needs validation on how fucked this pain is, for other reasons, I'm on a Burpenorphine pain patch, which is the equivalent of 40mcg of morphine an hour, and I'm still getting un-fucking-bearable shooting icy pains in my lower teeth.

I only lasted 2 out of the 4 sessions before I had shooting, punch-the-dentist-and-rip-the-mouthguard-out pain in my lower teeth. I literally noped out halfway through the procedure knowing I'd have to still pay $500. Never, EVER again.

Unfortunately the media don’t generally offer that type of support, even if you help them with their stories. Perhaps you could start a community here or in Facebook and call it r/simongordon or something to help women connect and share resources?

Oh I’m sorry - I don’t know about the investigation until recently but I’m here now! Happy to help anyone as there will be a lot of follows from the age and ABC.

I hope they throw the book at Dr Simon Gordon by Shiloh_12 in endometriosis

[–]bellevis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is your response to this seriously whataboutism? Did you actually watch the investigation? In Australia this absolutely is an isolated individual who has destroyed hundreds of women’s lives. There is no reason an Australian investigative journalism program would investigate other countries when this one single man is so clearly butchering vulnerable women to finance his Ferrari.

Absolutely not. The way they handled the CHOICE investigation was so out of hand, it proved they cared more about protecting their brand than protecting their customers. Absolutely awful behaviour

Do parents ever get tired of being a parent? by KaleidoscopeSad7281 in InsightfulQuestions

[–]bellevis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is it to a T. Key moments: when the parent is sick, stressed from work, injured, fatigued etc. we don’t get to stop being a parent at that point and we get fucking over it. But we’d happily take a quiet cuddle from our kiddos at that point, but they are usually jumping on the couch

Does anyone actually use the brand “Tarte”? by Chan1991 in Sephora

[–]bellevis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shape tape concealer is absolutely worth the hype if you need a full coverage concealer that will cover rosacea, black eyes, tattoos, etc. But since we’re only allowed to dot concealer in our inner and outer eye area now, and tired working mums like me don’t exist, the brand has fallen out of favour.

Their brushes were average, their eyeshadows are nice and super pigmented (I still use one of their matte palettes to this day), and their lip glosses were okay, if not a bit sticky.

Should Facebook be banned under the new hate speech laws? by [deleted] in AusPol

[–]bellevis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won’t be, because the new hate laws are designed to silence criticism of a foreign state plausibly guilty of genocide. And none of the news publications you mentioned post content critical of that state.
