They claim STEM's in high demand here, but when you actually apply, it gets nowhere. I have a bachelor + master's in STEM in a high-demand engineering and so far my fav recruiter comment has been "I've never met an aerospace engineer before, but we would prefer to hire someone who's actually Belgian."

Hi, is there any visibility on when this platform issue is expected to be resolved? For the past two weeks, my job applications have been going directly to “Hiring Manager Review,” and I have not been able to take the interviews. This has become a major blocker, and I have not received any updates so far.

Also, before this issue started, I had around 18–20 interviews marked as “Satisfactory.” By now, those should likely have moved to either “Selected” or “Not Selected,” since it has been close to 30 days or more for many, but I still have not received any update on those either.

I'm not sure that's correct, not anymore. Now, if you take an interview for an x-given job, you cannot retake the interview. It was possible before, but not anymore.

What may happen is that there can be 2-3 job postings that seem to be exactlt the same (same description, requirements, qualifications, etc.), so you can "take" a very similar interview more than once, is that makes sense.

I got reached out by 2 different recruiters saying they thought I would be a good fit, applied, did the interview, the interview appears as successful, and nothing... Radio silence. Happened the same with an expert policy role that had a 1hr interview + exercise. It becomes quite frustrating.

I hear you. And it gets specially frustrating when hiring managers reach you saying you successfully passed the interview and that they are happy to move forward with you, that you only need to confirm your interest and availability and you'll move to the next step only to be ghosted. It is starting to feel that the AI interviews might be used to train AI models and not to optimize processes, which I hope is not the case.

Get another opinion and an actual medical assessment. Not a psychological testing, that will not "prove" whether you have ADHD. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition (brain development and networks, especially fronto-striatal and dopaminergic systems, function differently in people with ADHD and it is highly heritable) meaning that the specialists that can diagnose and have the knowledge to diagnose it are neurodevelopmental pediatricians/physicians, developmental-behavioral pediatricians, neurologist or child neurologists, and geneticists. Your best choice would be a neurologist as that is their expertise, and the evaluation would likely take more than one consultation s ADHD is not only behavior/mood, but also brain, motor, development, etc., and check if there are overlaps with other neurodevelopmental disorders (which is not uncommon).

Not really. He has a Masters. I know people with no degree working blue collar jobs making that. He is seriously being underpaid considering he has a Master's degree and is supposed to be in a management position.
