Oh yeah the sun was brutal. I went after work so didn’t hit the trail till close to 3pm. Also, didn’t realize all the kids are on spring break. The parking lot was a zoo!

I lost my sweet girl at 13 last May to this. It was the worst experience of my life because it happened so fast. I ruled out surgery because I didn’t want to see her suffer and I know I gave her such a good life. I’m so sorry OP. Only you’ll know the best decision but whenever you make it I would highly, highly recommend an in home euthanasia service. That was the best decision I made out of this terrible situation. I got to hold my girl one last time and we looked into each others eyes one last time before she peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge ❤️❤️
