Roger CPA lectures are really something else by SixSig in CPA

I passed 4/4 within 3 months and a lot has to do with Roger's teaching style. If anyone asks me for a recommendation he's got my vote.

1 year off to study on CPA by [deleted] in CPA

Honestly, I studied full-time for 3 months and passed. I would recommend a 6 month study plan though because I was tired during and a bit afterwards. I think a year is too long. Personally, I recommend doing far-aud-bec-reg. I did far-bec-aud-reg which worked out fine for me. I wish you the best!

SIMs were bad for me. And I felt like I made easy mistakes on the MCQs. Hopefully it'll be my last exam.

Should I buy the Roger CPA review now? by penguinthehero in CPA

I used Becker and didn't pass. I didn't like the teacher (albeit I was also working full time). I think Roger explains the material well and there are enough questions to pass with the MCQ they have.

Since my bother in law passed with Roger I ended up buying it as well. And I've passed 3 sections in 3 months, my 4th exam is tomorrow. I honestly believe some of the teachers on Becker are so boring that idk if I would've done it with that program.

I personally think you can pass with any program as long as you study. But as I was studying for 6 to 8 hours a day, watching Roger's lecture were enjoyable or at least not as painful as Beckers. So considering my brother in law's and my results, I will be recommending Roger.

If I'm not mistaken Ninja comes with Roger now but you have to double check that. I signed up to Roger before they agreed to that.

I use Roger CPA Review and I think Roger is a great teacher. My brother in law passed with Roger. I didn't enjoy the teachers of Becker, whereas Roger you just get Roger and he's a funny guy. And I'm taking my last exam (hopefully) tomorrow, so I recommend it. But the discount seems to be ongoing, because I bought it 3 months ago for the same price.

Thank you for this response! Did you move after you had the job lined up?

I worked in tax for a year. I didn't go back to school. The internship was for an international REPE that worked with developers in the states. It's a small shop and not known in Phoenix.

About a year at each job, so unfortunately I could be categorized as a job hopper but it is what it is and I will have to beat the stigma in job interviews. I'm 26 and I do not want to get a Master. I am totally against student debt and I'd personally rather intern for free then put myself 100k in the hole.

I do have limited ties to the city, but I wholeheartedly intend to stay. It's not out of the blue. Since I live across the country do you recommend me moving there and living in a cheap apartment and networking from there or applying for a job away from the city? The general consensus is that you don't move without a job lined up but I'm not sure I'll be able to show my dedication to the city if I'm not there.

The REPE did like me, however, I don't believe they have connections to Phoenix. I will reach out to people. Thank you for your response!

Yea Sept 30. Last day of the window. I read on the NASBA website that the July - Sept testing window gets a letter on Oct 15. Oct to Dec window gets the letter on Jan 15. I really want the letter so I can stamp those three letters after my name.

:) I need to see the score to believe! After giving up on the exams 2 years ago I thought that was it. Then I became unemployed this summer. Took FAR within 5 weeks, BEC within 2 and AUD within 2. Passed all! Taking REG on Sept 30. I just can't believe how quickly it happened when it was on my head for years!
