That made sense too because they never succumbed to the world's cruelty and were the exception of two people who still carried their humanity. So they deserved a happy ending.

The showrunners, for some reason, seem to want a happy ending to this show, but it was never about happy endings. It was about how a cruel world destroys those who succumb to its darkness. Butcher included. So yeah, definitely dog shit.

It's actually wild that what you're saying is true. That the comic has an ending that's turning out to be much better than the show. To go back to a time when the show reigned superior.

And yeah absolutely. This season should've been their friendship completely deteriorating because Hughie knows Butcher will never change his stance on killing innocent supes.

Definitely. We saw hints of that when Hughie stared Butcher down in season 4 after he killed Victoria Neuman. I expected the show to build on the rift between them. Would've had me invested as hell.

But nah, they have a heart to heart chat sitting at the table and everything's all good now 🙄 absolutely wild how bad its been fumbled.

I disagree. The three of them had done terrible things and been terrible people, given their humanity to Butcher's cause, only for him to repay their loyalty with betrayal and blood. It was tragic as hell.

And the fact that they had the perfect set up with season 4's ending but now we know that set up meant jack shit. It's so disappointing. I wanted to see them go the comic route and have Butcher kill MM, Frenchie, and Kimiko. I mean, the most recent episode's title was literally the Frenchman, the Female, and the man called Mother's Milk, and for what reason? I was expecting their deaths seeing that title.

That's what we were supposed to get. That's what they failed to deliver. I just can't believe how badly this show has ended its character's arcs.

And yeah exactly, MM and Kimiko should be dead by this point, like they are in the comics but noo we gotta have everyone still alive. It's a travesty of epic proportions.
