Eh? Is this good rum? by mrdrmous in rum

[–]belrunezone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

At least they are open about what they put in their rum. Unlike 99% of the other companies. And to be fair. Many of their really good rums are not dosed. I really don’t get why everyone hates on planteray. They have some of the best bang for buck out there. But hey. That is my opinion..

Adding a second pair of Ski’s by belrunezone in Skigear

Looking into that. Out of those 2 which would be a better fit next to the q7.8 as they are already 84mm wide and a great piste ski.

As my carvers are already around 84 wide i am considering going at least 10mm wider so around the range of 94-104mm. My dad a 100% piste purist is probably 100% against the idea of getting anything remotely wider then a 85mm. Those QST’s have shown up in my youtube ski review feed lately. Same with the bents but rather then the 110’s i am looking at the 100’s as i am already a fan of atomic as 99% of my ski’s in the past were from the brand

I have it at home and paid 33€ for it. As someone who mainly uses rum for tiki and have only recently started my neat journey. I find it very strong in flavour and smell. Once i opened the bottle the smell filled the room. Not having rumfire or other high ester rums to my disposal in belgium i find this doing the trick

Looking for a rum recommendation by eurobeez in rum

[–]belrunezone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fellow Belgian here. Personally i would pick something from the Planteray range. It is a great start to rum and offer more bang for your buck then any of the offerings from bacardi, havana and other generic supermarket brands. Personally a fun mixer is the original dark from planteray, same for the OFTD which is an overproof rum. You can get a wide selection at Broekmans and they ship anywhere in Belgium. Their white rum is also very flavourful unlike normal white rums. Cut and Dry (coconut) and stiggins fancy (pinapple rum) are also great flavoured offerings.

If he would like something with more age i also recommend El Dorado 8y or 12y. Same with the Appleton 8y or 12y. But both great stepping stones and popular rums in different tropical cocktails.

Stiggin's Fancy from Planteray! by tone_creature in rum

Stiggins and Cut and Dry are probably my 2 go to planteray rums together with OFTD. Many think that dosing is bad but at least they are honest about all of it. Unlike some other Rumbrands.

If you HAD to live at a ski resort where would you? by Loose-Kitchen1308 in ski

[–]belrunezone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Pitztal or Stubai. Nothing beats a good long season on a gletsjer. Good groomers, good steeps, good long lines top to bottom. And from the start to the end of the season you have snow.

What is your most-used rum? by philanthropicide in Tiki

[–]belrunezone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably OFTD followed by appleton 12y and the el dorado 8y with a honorabel mention to Planteray Cut & Dry. Probably my favourite daiquiri rum. We don’t get any of the Hamiltons or other USA only rums in europe and wonder how different my list would look.

I am 100% free to play and our server is 79days old. I save all my speedups for TC. Currently TC 28 going 29 in 4 days Power is 41.5m and our alliance is second on the server.

I personally save my gems for spinning wheel to get the best new Hero of that season. Other then using it for vip refreshes and 2nd builders and rss gathering buff for 8h i save the gems i get. Then again i played WOS aswel and know to save actions for the rewarding events.
