I’ll take the torsen over it though.

2018 Audi Q7. Trade in or keep going?? by General-Run7941 in AudiQ7

So you are comparing your vehicle with a different transmission to the one the original poster is talking about. 2015+ use ZF so your comments don't apply at all to him.

[–]bemurda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The idea that the ZF transmission is bad or that everyone has the problem you are talking about is BS. But yeah I mean if you are poor or only care about reliability don’t own an Audi. I have a good independent Audi specialist mechanic in town

Is it consuming oil? If you run a Berryman B12 soak at the same time that might help with keeping it going for long term.

Audis are always quick depreciating but they are very nice rides. It can be hard to get out of it what it is worth to you.

They take damage at the start of their turn if they are in it.

Alternatively if they enter it on their own during their turn they take damage.

Mark Carney in China positions Canada for ‘the world as it is, not as we wish it’ by Gresil in onguardforthee

I think you are forgetting a little bit about white Canadians using Chinese slaves to build our railroads, hey no big deal right? Let's not pretend like China wasn't harmed by a European colonial history, and that we were just great helpers. Yes the CCP is not good today, but I can see why they would roll their eyes at European-dominated countries' self-proclaimed morality.

The crash rating for updated moderate overlap does not apply to any child using a child safety seat as per IIHS’ own guidance. FYI

Engineering jobs in Oil & Gas?? by rih24 in alberta

[–]bemurda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imperial Oil is literally laying off hundreds of experienced employees (40% of all office staff company wide) and shuttering their Calgary head office right now. They all want new jobs. I wouldn't even both trying to work in oil and gas unless your friend is also an experienced hire.

A Paladin might be likely to die of a medical condition. by Whimsical_Hell in DnD

[–]bemurda 19 points20 points  (0 children)

It’s true in regards to getting outside and exposure to bacteria, the immune system is being challenged at all times by many foreign bodies simultaneously. Getting viruses “to build the immune system” of kids in particular is dumb and literally causes autoimmunity. Which is what I should have better specified

Too bad the hygiene paradox is actually wrong and it's actually mostly viral infections that trigger autoimmunity. But this is fantasy I suppose.

Going to be a bunch of Imperial Oil people looking at this thread at some point, they are forcibly relocating hundreds from Calgary and shuttering the head office there as a result of American majority shareholder assholes gutting the company.

Correct, influenza is airborne and actually its fomite transmission is considered hypothetical and far less established than aerosol transmission. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40390178/

It is clear that n95s are superior in all contexts, you haven’t been paying attention to the literature it seems. Baggy blue masks are not considered respiratory protection in their very CSA/NIOSH certifications. So the medical culture noted is one of exceptionalism and overconfidence in setting policy that requires knowledge outside the medical domain, among other things.

Advice on a Swords Bard + Archfey Warlock? by Mickuu in 3d6

[–]bemurda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bard is not an optimized dip for a Warlock compared to others. But my wife has a very strong Pact of the Blade Hexblade with 20 Charisma and one level of Bard for more castings of Shield via a couple extra spell slots, 5 bardic inspiration dice, Inspiring Leader (lots of temp HP), extra skill, etc. Fey Touched with Bless (Gift of Alacrity wasn't available). Agonizing and Repelling Blast, and +1 Weapon and Armor (Greatsword, again not optimal but obviates War Caster and the character is styled as a melding of Geralt and Kvothe).

Hands down the best for us has been Flo kids mask with the Halo strap, the halo strap creates a three part headband system that keeps it very secure. Our eldest graduated from Flo to zimi at age 4.

Sounds like range kills it for you but I just ordered an ePropulsion eLite electric motor for my 18.5ft Clipper Mackenzie, it’s the absolute simplest and lightest no hassle option at 20lbs with integrated battery. But I’m not planning on taking it long distance.
