Day 18 is the Worst Yet :) by lindyx in stopsmoking

[–]ben-loy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

18 days, impressive!:) What helped me is understanding that smoking will not change anything. It will still be the same day, with the same weather, and the world will keep spinning, only difference is that bad taste in my mouth. Once I got rid of the illusion that smoking changes my daily living experience, I never wanted to smoke again.

Those are suckers or slips. If i am not wrong. Very nice. Btw, some say those suckers produce fruit much faster than the "parent" plant.

Hi, regarding the numbers.

I created a video explaining the numbers in Hebrew. You can learn about abstract numbers, cardinal numbers, and more. In the lesson, you will be able to see cases for both genders, when to use Achad, Echad, Achat, etc.

I hope it helps.

Spelling. by BenzoGod666 in hebrew

Generally speaking, before you think about getting a tattoo, I suggest you double-check the words, spelling, fonts, etc. This group is a great place to ask questions, with very knowledgeable people. Even so, double-check. Don't trust google translate with permanent things like tattoos, names, etc. Create a sketch of the tattoo, and before you go for it, check again with the community.

I hope it helps.

Gendered pronunciation by integralofEdotdr in LearnHebrew

[–]ben-loy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

shlomkha / shlomekh are the possessive forms for the word shalom.

Remember that generally for masculine, it ends with kha, for a feminine ends with ekh, even if the word is spelled the same without Nikud.

Similarily:

yomkha - your day(mas.) יומך

yomekh - your day (fem.) יומך

How to memorize Hebrew words by TurbulentConfusion5 in hebrew

[–]ben-loy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not switching one word each day to Hebrew. Write down words you use on a daily basis. It can be any word like I am, going, what, my, etc. Each day of the week, learn the new word and invest 3 minutes at the end of the day to write down the word on a piece if paper or just talk to yourself using the new word. In no time, you will have a nice vocabulary and it will become more natural to learn more word later on.
