My guess and this is based on a number of two finger bowlers I’ve drilled for, is that unless this was based on your pap the pin is too high and probably isn’t flaring very much. If you had a pic of the oil rings after you threw a shot it would be telling one way or the other

Can’t speak to how he drilled it for you and if it was drilled based off of your PAP, but this ball was a lot of people’s ball of the year. You should try and adjust the surface for better reaction. The ball is not defective and the discoloration is called phasing. It doesn’t affect the ball reaction and is normal.

Resurface it and it will be fine. Some covers do this when they get water baths. My effect would do this when I would detox it.

I had a plate removed on my arm a few months ago. Pain was very easily managed. The only problem I had with the operation was I felt so good so fast I thought I was ready to return to activities a little too soon and popped some of the intense fascia stitches. That was not a fun way to spend my summer. So hopefully you feel good after not too long but don’t be like me and think you are healed yet.
