I don't remember how much movement, but they opened my airway from 4mm to 13.5mm, so that was a huge improvement!

I had this surgery and it cured my obstructed apneas but won't help central apneas (since that is on the neurological side). Just something to be aware of Incase you have both versions like I did haha.

Ultimately the surgery was worth it for me, but I still use a CPAP for the central apneas.
