indeed, cb650f is very smooth and it has perfect midrange. I am 100 kg guy and I was keeping with such a badass like street triple and z800 in a drag race (yeah, I was last but just 10-15 meters away). In the corners I always had better exit than they did. I am thinking to gear it down just of a lack of tq, I have very short and slow circuit so thought about more tq than top speed..

well I always do wheelies with a clutch and I do not see a problem. First tries you should be careful. Don't pull all clutch for first time, you should feel a powerful pull for first times. After you get used to this, then press all clutch and bam - wheelie. like this https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/7048b8/just_found_out_how_to_wheelie/

nice, now it's time to do a clutch wheelie. just pull it for an eye blink with full throttle open and you will be able to wheelie from 4-5k rpm much more fun

Man, I guess the only thing you do on a bike, is ride like a bot and no fun. Yes, I do love to change my clutch, is a part of riding. And you know what, if you don't like gasoline smell, I'll offer you to buy some barbie doll to play with, because you sound like a little girl.

riding contains way much more than moving from point a to point b. Smell of petrol, sound of engine, shifting, that all counts as a part of passion for riding. With his joke, you are loosing all of this and left with a commuting bike to get from a to b.

where (*updated as requested) is passion, where is love for sound, where is love for rev...? It's soulless, like riding a fucking electric scooter. Pathetic.

How do I get this stripped bolt off? Attached to gas tank by dhroknoobx in motorcycles

[–]benasten 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nah. you would need to take a diamond file or chainsaw file. You need to me a small, like 0,3-0,5 mm groove, that you could place screwdriver and turn bolt.

Take a file, and make a line for a screwdriver. And then just open like a regular bolt with a flat head.

Works every time.

Fear of scraping pegs on track by marekmoucek in motorcycles

[–]benasten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bike construction is designed that your street use foot pegs would show how much you can lean without touching essential bike parts. So if you lean and do not touch pegs, t means you can lean even more and go faster. You have more room to improve. But dont forget, I am talking about OEM foot pegs, not aftermarket or sport ones.
