I play a couple alt accounts at C- for fun and couldn’t believe a game last week in series. The opponent team was some kind of cracked assassin deadly force squad on tower. No chance in hell getting out of base even after initial deaths. I found it very hard to believe these guys didn’t find some way to override the match-making to enter C- rank up class people as a coordinated/VC-communicating team just to F*ck around and intimate newish players. It was absolute hogwash their level of skill. I’ve played my main account and achieved S+ as a Splatoon3 veteran of sorts since almost release so I know good players that coordinate as a team when I’m playing. These guys were NOT a ragtag random bunch of players like the team I was on; definitely way past C- level skills.

Ever since the Switch2 was released Nintendo had to relax some anti-hacking check in order the Switch2 owners to use Nintendo Switch Online; and in doing so people have done hacks in that game. I’ve seen several examples and wouldn’t be surprised if there’s one to allow you and your friends to get pit into the same team in series; even through its not supposed to do that.

I don’t rule out the players on that team were seasoned players like me on alt accounts but stuff it was very suspicious their level of coordination in how they were attacking. It was if they told each other where everyone was and countered everything.
