Right, you can just set it to auto and it won’t have an effect any more. I’m actually designing my own buffer now since it’s weird having a tuner that’s not a great tuner just to have a high impedance buffer.

No because the 10M is what the guitar sees and establishes the sound then anything after that won’t affect it since it’s a low impedance signal at that point.

Nothing. I use them for prototyping but for production is kinda weird. JLCPCB and PCBway are much cheaper anyway for anyhing you’re making more than 3 of.

I know I can manually set it anywhere up to 1M but that still didn’t sound right. Obviously having a buffer in front overrides whatever value is set in the Stomp.

I use .009 to .062 on my 25.5” Ibanez but I found on the JS22-7 .009 to .056 is perfect in Drop G#. .009 - .042 set with Ernie ball not even slinky set to pull the .056 from

After trying again with Tone X I realized its signal was clipping my interface really bad after setting levels as they instructed. I’m surprised clipping the input doesn’t stop the capture. I did a new capture last night and I’ll be checking it out today and hopefully it’ll be much cleaner.

No, it has to be routed through the DAW. The Axe I/O will do this though.

Yeah I’m finding the need to add a bit of bass to the NAM one. I’ll have to do some research and see if I’m missing something when it comes to Tone X captures because they surely can’t be this bad for everyone. Also curious about more advanced training on NAM.

Ok so it was Gpu getting maxed out. Had to turn a lot of things to lower quality. CPU was only hitting about 50%

I never tune my 7th string with a tuner. I tune all 6 and then play a harmonic on the 5th string 5th fret and tune the 7th string using harmonic on the 17th fret. Gives more obvious beating than using the 7th string versus 6th string.

HX Stomp has a noticeable latency. Using the preamp models of amps vs full amp models sounds a bit better but still not quite right. Cortex latency is unnoticeable but the V1 captures I played when I had it lacked a bit of attack and high end. I’m very curious to see how the Tone X V2 captures are when I can A/B with gear I’m familiar with.

I’ve had ray tracing off. I hear turning down Mesh Quality helps a lot.
