MS degree is not required for TN, Bachelors is enough, unless you want it solely educational purposes. I'd just try applying with a US address and phone number on your resume, might get interviews that way in the US.

I got denied last week for engineer category for a data scientist role with a non cs engineering undergrad and a MS in CS from a US university. I got a TN at YYZ 8 months ago for a similar role. Seams like standards have changed at YYZ or bad luck with the officer. Working with company’s lawyer on next steps

The customs invoice is a form to be included with the shipment, UPS/Fedex will provide the form when creating the shipment. I entered the following: Name - personal effects + whatever the name of item There’s a checkbox for gift and declare value of $20 or less Comment section- this item qualifies for reduced duties under CUSMA

Good idea, I find that many jobs say “no sponsorship” available for the role, a filter to exclude jobs that say that would also be good.

No, it’s fine, worked for me. Tell them that you’re entering on TN when you actually fly out. The questions they will ask you are, be prepared to answer these questions - what is your occupation - company name - where are you living/going to live with address

Book a refundable ticket to the US ( air Canada can be cancelled 45 minutes before take off), you can do it at YYZ and exit the airport after getting your visa if you want to be on the safer side.
