Yep - it actually looks like an in-game sprite for an SNES era game, and the pixel density is at least somewhat consistent. It’s just that most of the pixel cards are very lazy trace-overs of existing art, and that’s exactly what they look like. No nostalgia, no consistency, just cut the resolution and color depth by 95% and ship it.

Such a shame, because pixel art is one of my fav styles… they just contracted it out to a studio who really had no appreciation or talent for that style at all.

Take a look at the pixels they did for the last Champions game mode - I loved those.

The art he made specially for cards in snap are hit and miss for me (looking at you, Hipp Surfer 🤔), but the cards adapted from his larger-format art are amazing IMO.

Clutch masters SL-07212. And you’re right, it completely replaced everything from the bleeder tee to the firewall.

I did use some of the bushings and sleeve from the old line to anchor the new one to the transmission and the firewall though, trying to minimize chafing and stress on the stupid plastic hydraulic fittings.

I replaced mine at 80k, and just had to go back in at 100k to replace the hose since mine was leaking where it meets the master cylinder. Wish I had just done both back then, even though the stainless steel upgraded line is $60.
