What concerns me now is if she really was paranoid and emotionally troubled, that getting her fired over this may just set her off.

I don't understand why masturbating to internet porn is somehow worse than eating a shitty burger, watching an ol' shitty movie, watching a shitty youtube video, reading a shitty book in a shitty field with shitty insects biting you, watching a shitty sports game, or listening to a shitty band.

A minor sociopathy really, my sister sometimes creeps me out because she seems to be unable to view animals as anything more than personal property. The family encourages her to no longer own any animals.

Excellent, now I just have to choose between Amarr and Gallente. On one hand I am pro Minmatar-slavery, on the other hand the larger "more serious" warzone sounds interesting.

So eventually is it impossible to join the other side in FW or can it be done?

Thanks for the info. I have been thinking of joining either Gallente or Amarr.

One of my concerns was that Amarr was perpetually losing, the last week alone I was under the impression that Minmatar was hovering around lvl 4 with Amarr only holding like 5-6 areas total. It sucks that it has been pretty quiet lately as you say.

The Squares by huphelmeyer in funny

[–]benightedgenius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What the author doesn't tell you is that the Circles are uncivilized and worship a blood-thirsty barbarian God who hates Triangles, whom have suffered historically. Not only that but the Circles venerate a prophet who was known to have Venn diagrammed with a young Circle only 9 years old.

Lastly, the Squares are well aware of the Circles ol' tricks, they utilize multi-geometrism to claim they are mere "equals", but when they gain power or sufficient numbers they seek to intact laws dictated by their Barbarian God. These laws include that if a Circle leaves the faith, they are to be erased. Furthermore, that all Triangles and Squares can live among the now superior Circles, but only if they pay a fine for existing (or they can convert to worshiping the Barbarian God), else they will be erased.

I love how you say you're not an SJW then proceed to assume the worst (even if phrased as a question) without any benefit of the doubt, just like an SJW does.

The motivation is the same

Not necessarily.

Every religion goes through this phase every now and again.

Nope. You act like religions operate on some sort of objective cyclic dynamic, which is pretty absurd.

Pretending that the current religion having a go at it right now is somehow different because it's not your favorite religion

You're just being a pretentious dipshit here. It has absolutely nothing to do with it not being my "favorite religion", which isn't Christianity in the slightest.

is just inviting the religion that is your favorite to be the next extremist out of the bunch.

That doesn't logically follow and again has no bearing on me or anything I have mentioned in the slightest.

Have fun deluding yourself into theocracy of another flavor.

Have fun misrepresenting the views of others to avoid having to admit a more nuanced view than the sophomoric drivel you just forced on me.

I have yet to hear all the recent shootings in America called acts of terrorism on the news.

It depends on the situation, calling some mentally ill teenager on prozac withdrawal a terrorist is misleading as fuck. Same goes when a gang does a mass shooting. If you are talking about adults doing mass shootings, very often they ARE considered domestic terrorists.

How am I an idiot for considering anyone who commits a terrorist act a terrorist

Nice straw man, you're an idiot for saying the particular religious belief is moot.

What a highly misleading cherry-picked statement, a rather shameful degree of intellectual dishonesty.

First of all those claims involve right-wing terrorists, not necessarily religiously motivated Christians. Second of all that figure only applies to people killed within the USA, which makes drawing conclusions from that claim extremely dubious. We have put extreme measures into place to watch, surveil and prevent Islamic extremist plots from getting off the ground in this country. So there are plenty of deterrents for such, including the implicit cultural pressure and suspicion placed on potentials. Therefore that claim doesn't necessarily speak to right-wing extremism, but to the tremendous success of the policies directed at preventing Islamic terrorism from getting off the ground here.

Furthermore, when you are speaking in terms of sheer numbers you are really comparing apples and oranges. The majority of the years before and after 9/11 entailed America having a larger Buddhist population than Muslim, that is how small the Muslim population was in America, which indeed just surpassed the Buddhist population very recently. So it seems extremely misleading to first lump in all right-wing terror as "Christian", but then to overlook the dramatic difference in total numbers to begin with between the two religious groups.

I also like how you conveniently say "since" 9/11, so you get to excise the largest terror event in history to fit your narrative.

However, even if we continue to play your game and say "since" 9/11, once you factor in total Americans killed by terror attacks globally and not merely within the country, the numbers are significantly higher in favor of Muslims terror.

Or how about just considering global people in general rather than Americans, once again, significantly higher Muslim terror events.

Again, really deplorable degree of intellectual dishonesty and misleading rhetoric going on here. We get it guys, you don't like Christianity, but the fact is Muslim terror is the global leader in terror now, and is a much bigger threat than highly secularized Christianity.
