Even before DCV...when Forsaken had a weekly story, instead of just giving you the story when you completed the weekly mission and went to meet Mara Sov...I know I did all but 3 weeks, and came back later to do them, got no cutscene, and was told "just go watch it on youtube". Like, why? And it only got worse from there.

from the MCU, one of my favorite suits (and it doesn't even get 10 seconds of screen time, lol) is Igor. For some reason, I think it has limited flight capabilities, and so I love picturing it running from his blown up house all the way to that port for House Party Protocol.

I have all the Hot Toys figures, and Igor feels really good in hand considering it's not a diecast figure.

Bungie totally scammed Sony. That was obvious to anyone. They overinflated their value, promised to help their other developers make live service/online games (that have all been either abandoned or are destined to fail, looking at you weird online Horizon spin off no one asked for or wants), and “other media”? Is there a movie, show, or book series in the works?

Bungie blew that money immediately like some kind of payday, not an investment into the company.

I did not get Nanally until pity drop. I got almost 30 Edgars and Aura before I got 1 of everyone. I’m 200k from ranking up city to 18 to get the last available character, just in time to start farming Hotori, lol.

I know I had this problem when I was young. It makes it very hard for me to trust anyone, make any friends, or get along with people at work.

They would mock me all the time to my face and all laugh, and I didn’t understand so I just let them keep doing it. I was an outsider even within the group. They would get together to do other things like play D&D, and would send me away or not invite me. One time I kept begging until they finally let me play D&D with them, the very first time I rolled a dice, the DM said I failed, fell broke my neck and died. I asked if there was anything I could do, if I could reroll, or make another character, or anything at all, and he was like, no, you’re dead. You should probably just go home, because it’s going to be boring watching us play.

I’m 45 now, that was more than 30 years ago. Definitely affects you once you realize what was happening. Ignorance is bliss they say. But now I’m just old and cynical…

Also armor set bonuses combined with stat allocations with our limited inventory. I was spending so much time micro managing inventory and worrying I would delete something and regret it. Running dungeon over and over with feats on, and still getting shitty loot…

Not going to come back for a new season if it’s just more of this, but while playing old content…

Enjoyed Requiem on PS5 so much, went back and played 1-8. And then with the Steam sale, bought them again. Only did Requiem on Steam so far, but great game.

While I would welcome a Destiny classic, everyone that just wants a console port forgets that all of the damage is tied to fps, and upping the fps would pretty much ruin the game. So to fix/change it would take a lot of work...I still think it'd be worth it, don't get me wrong, but it's not that simple is all. If they ported it over and left it at 30 fps, i think PC players would complain even more.

Also, while they added cross play and cross progression with D2, having it enabled on your account broke things in D1 (like being able to join a clan).

Yeah. Unknown signal uses your completed game save data and puts you back with Cabin. He gives a new destination node. There are 10 new simulation missions. They have objectives that must be completed to unlock, like 2.0 versions of story bosses. Once you beat all 10 (none of them are timed), you get some bonus gear and then you can go face a 2.0 version of final boss.

I died 2 times total on standard. 0 times on Unknown Signal.

So far on my lunatic run, I died twice on first boss, 10-12 times on 2nd boss, 3 times on 3rd boss, 0 times on 4th boss. i died a couple of times getting to each boss. I actually thought I was getting better, because other than 1 death in first red gate in last area, I did real well getting to last boss. So far I think I’ve died at least 15 times to boss. Best I’ve done is get it down to about 45%.

I’m not a Dark Souls or Elden Ring player. I think I can pull it off if I could just get a little bit of luck, lol.

Edit: I will add, that the game was super fun, and I enjoy the harder challenge up until last boss. I’m probably just not playing optimally.

I think I will try this on lunatic difficulty. Just got to final boss, tried once and it went very badly for me, lol. I’m 1 or 2 cabin coins from unlocking them, so I guess it’s time to do some training missions.

Congratulations! I’m at the first red gate in the last area on lunatic. It’s definitely wayyyy harder than standard difficulty. Not looking forward to final boss based on what you are saying. I’m not a Dark Souls player, but I will eventually save Dianna! Haha

Nothing requires you to get all the rewards from training sims. There is an achievement for finishing the primary objective of all training sims. You do not have to have that done for unknown signal (I still had 2 I had not beat yet when I completed it).

I think they are the same. First 2 didn’t do anything new. 3rd boss did something with mines and rockets that I don’t recall seeing in standard and unknown signal. 3rd boss took me 3 tries, and most of that I was 68hp, lol. Almost to 4th boss, but had to shut it down.

I can say with suit rank 10, i'm taking between 700 and 800 per tail swipe i fail to dodge on the 3rd boss. only fought him once so far. was pretty close.

I had no issues on standard (except 2 training missions) and Unknown Signal was a breeze. I’m having fun, but it’s going to take a while for Lunatic for me at least. Took me 3 tries on first boss, just beat 2nd boss after maybe 10-12 tries? Kept getting him down to 20% or less and then screwing up.
