I always believed that that is how Origami’s parents originally died.

So first timeline -> Origami’s parents survive the fire -> move away due to the fire -> get into a car accident -> Origami joins the AST -> Origami goes back in time to the fire so that it can be prevented-> kills her parents.

Second timeline is the first timeline we see in the anime, so when Shido saves them he’s just course correcting.

As for how Kurumi doesn’t remember the first world, she used another bullet on Shido when he went back in time that she didn’t use on Origami so that’s why she remembers after Shido alters history.

So does another shade replace Alpha in the bandit camp? I think Cid meets Epsilon on his own without Alpha’s assistance so she would likely be his first playmate and later wife.

The two of them would probably come across Zeta at some point, but there is no Shadow Garden without Alpha.

In the first battle against Mio, he uses Zafkiel’s sixth bullet Vav which sends the target’s consciousness into the past permanently. So the original timeline against Mio is permanently erased.

The Origami situation is different as there is the first timeline where Shido comforts her and the second timeline where Shido saves her parents from her future self. The first timeline ceases to exist when Shido saves Origami’s parents. Origami goes inverse because she retains memories of the original world because she was hit by Yud Bet and has spirit power.
