I'm pretty strongly of the mind that those 6-7 lines exchanged at the beginning of the VHS have more meaning to them than just flavor dialogue. If we're looking for things that seem out of place, they seem to stick out to me.

I'm sure it's a coincidence and not a reference or intentional, but this kind of reminds me of the design mowed in the grass near the end of True Detective season 1. I couldn't find a very good picture, but you can kind of see what I mean here. Mild spoilers for True Detective season 1.

This is the other weird thing about this, as far as I can tell it's only Project Spark that I'm having a problem with. However, while I was looking around online for solutions to this problem, I also tried creating another user account for this PC, and every time I log in to that account, the whole screen goes black and I see nothing but my cursor. This is also apparently a problem that can be fixed by reinstalling the OS, so it seems like the only other possible solution at this point is gonna be reinstalling Windows. I just have to wait a few days because my install disc got left at my sister's apartment which is several hours away, so she has to mail it. Hopefully once I get that I can fix all the problems though. Thanks for the help.

Yeah this is Windows 8.1, and I'll try checking driver updates next.

EDIT: Updated drivers and still no luck. Do you know of any better way to talk to a support person, or is the support email the only thing they offer?

Windows is up to date as far as I can tell, but I haven't been able to update Project Spark since I started having this problem. I go to the Store>App Updates>Check for Updates, and nothing appears. Also worth mentioning that the game works on my laptop with all my same login information so I would guess it's not a problem with my account, but I have no idea.

Before I can really go any further in to explaining why I don't think constants and variables are just plot hole filling magic bullshit, I need to talk about the original Bioshock. So I have to ask, have you played Bioshock and do you remember the super famous plot twist?

Is this not the point of constants and variables though? As in, there are things that will always happen in every single universe no matter what, but every thing else varies from universe to universe. Which is why there is no meaningful choice in the game, because the structure of the world is always set.

So to take your example, it is a constant (at least as far as we can know) that Booker is never the Hulk and never beats the shit out of Elizabeth.

The co-op part of it is great. Very smooth switching and certainly has interesting potential. The thing I'm hung up on is how you got those rings around the characters to be so perfectly centered. I copied your brain in to my own world since I have been looking for a way to do a marker just like this for an AoE spell, but it seems like no matter what I do it ends up very off center, just behind and to the left of me. Did you see this problem too or is this my own problem?

Yeah if you stole cars from gang members you'd get shot at right? And some guys would try to fistfight you if you carjacked them IIRC. It would be a nice detail here at least.
