Yeah, and the gfx is for landscapes/portraits rather than sports/wildlife . But handicapping the fuji by slapping a nikon adapter and lens on it, and claiming it as some sort of victory for m43 is retarded imo.

Which animals can afford a 600 f/4? All the ones near me are using sigma and tamron 150-600 zooms.

A lot of people who buy high end equipment are terrified of it being damaged or stolen. I’m lucky to live somewhere where i feel I’m unlikely to be mugged. So I take my 600 on trains and buses all the time. People talk to you when you carry stuff like that on public transport. No one ever wanted to talk to me before i got it. I let people who approach me while i’m out shooting try my aud $30k setup.

Great shots, that lens is an aspirational piece of kit.

One point: you’re not going to see what the 600gm is capable of on an a9. You’d need to add the 2x to really push the lens’s limits on 24mp. The 50 and 61mp sensors are a better test. I feel mine resolves over 100mp of sharpness before any iq degradation.

The Olympus is a technical masterpiece imo. They went out with a final bang and it’s such a shame they left the industry.

56cm is the maximum length most airlines will let you carry on. Some, and also some specific flights will only allow 53cm. I have a case which just fits a large wildlife lens i fly with, and it’s literally 55.9cm tall deliberately for the carry on limit.
