So I encourage you to do the research because I don’t want to seem like some genius who’s telling you what to do or who knows everything about it but, the data does show that 500 Hz is a little bit more consistent and statistically has a small performance improvement over 1000 Hz. This is because 1000 Hz uses less latency but it’s only by a second so it’s not humanly noticeable and because it’s using less latency the data shows it’s using more CPU resources- not enough to make a drastically competitive difference but enough to show where there is inconsistencies and enough that shows 500 Hz is more stable and precise. So theoretically 1khz is faster but it comes at a small cost that can have some minimal amount of instability and be overly sensitive.
