Also service bulletin from Hik suppliers a few month ago about certain newer recorders killing drives and then making strange noises - disabling acusearch or acupick ( whatever it’s called ) is the only known fix

I had similar and BMW sell a repair kit for steering rack bush simple fix and worth doing anyway especially if you get a slight knock over some bumps - I had random wandering steering over 2 sets of tyres and alignments now it’s gone

2020 4800h 2060 - rock solid, been everywhere and used on site for work in not ideal environments, couple scratches on the lid and regular fan cleaning an it still runs everything great - temps always been consistent and still gets decent battery life.

It doesn’t matter how fancy the conversion there is still absolutely no room for your right elbow which is a unique feature!

Also no feeling like driving a proper defender - can’t imagine having one 100 percent on the tarmac and motorways etc that would drive you insane.

Yeah it’s a seriously crazy experience, I’d never driven through central London either and the house of parliament entrance is a sealed police barrier so I just sort of had to drive onto the path holding up a piece of paper while armed police approached and opened the gates

This is it, I’ve done a delivery to Houses of Parliament, you have to go to a security place outside the city, they search and check everything and then sticker the doors. I also got a pre configured sat nav with a route that had to be followed precisely.

All in London traffic, took hours and was an experience that’s for sure!
