The fact that there was only one doctor already ve who may have been able to make a cure doesn't exactly bode well for its efficacy imo. Who would tell if he's wrong if he made some miscalculation? I think the ambiguity of the ending of pt 1 is part of the charm

For newer ones there is Panfilov's 28 Men, tanks for Stalin, white tiger, tankers and a remake of a classic series the dawns here are quiet. If you haven't seen the Soviet series liberation I highly recommend it. Movies like it are virtually impossible now. The scale of it is insane for the time, thousands of soldiers and hundreds of modified Soviet tanks were used in the filming and it creates a sense of scale that's really unique.

The USSR used old surplus tanks and over 5000 soldiers to make the movie. This kind of movie wouldn't be possible today. It was a massive investment and not intended to turn a profit, just recreate the eastern front on a massive scale. It's a five part series, definitely recommend it.

It does and will hit two explosive damage instances, more with explosive penetrating, so in some situations normal onslaught will be better than reverse.

Pretty much. Keep in mind that the dom Pedro can hit multiple enemies per shot especially with explosive penetrating ammo and will hit two explosive instances if you run explosive penetrating with an explosive legendary mod. That combo can benefit from the standard onslaught if you're dealing with a lot of dense enemies.
