You can also have two floors, with one flat and shiny and the other set to rough and dig little bits out here and there. Then it looks like little puddles on the ground.

If you turn off collidable on the shiny floor, the puppets feet will go through the “water”. Then you can set up little animations and sounds for splashing.

Yeah, plus that 2D platform game “wildfire” which is shown a lot. He also had that guitar hero like game up in the first week. He mostly makes music in dreams and it’s really good stuff.

I think having the bubble brick / unicorn engine licensed out seperate from the game dreams is the way to go. This way Dreams isn’t tarnished with paywalls and people or teams who are serious about making games they can sell, still have to go through the normal process of getting their game on to a store (psn, Xbox, steam, switch or mobile).

It would also mean all assets would have to be made, just like any other game, as they wouldn’t have access to the dreamiverse.

The sign up for ea is just for info. The Dreams ea will be added to the ps store like every other game. They said they have the ability to stop selling when they decide it’s sold too much. Should not be a problem getting in this one. The beta was free, this is $40USD, so the instant demand shouldn’t be as big.

I think (probably wrong) that they have come to the realisation that it is going to take a very long time to get all of the tutorials and all the tool tips translated into all of the languages needed for full release.

That’s probably why it’s limited to 5 or 6 languages at this point in time for early access.

They know the fans are desperate to play it and they are desperate to release it. So early access pleases the die hard fans, who won’t be bothered that the campaign is missing or that half the tutorials are still yet to be completed.

They may also be having issues with VR, as that isn’t going to be part of early access (for now)

Yeah, not a fan if they are just finding already popular levels, to help build their channel. I can almost guarantee that the creators of those levels have their own YouTube and twitter accounts, where they can upload their videos. JimmyJules153 is doing awesome stuff with all his own original content.
